The s-class lady is a transmigration/otome isekai manhwa that adds a new element into the mix. The Main character, Kim Yi-Young or Renee, was previously stuck in a different world one of hunters and a tower which she cleared after regressing 58 times. Sadly though, our female Yoo Joonghyuk was screwed over by the final boss of the previous world and thus did not return to her original world but instead transmigrated (again) into a villainess scenario. The story follows her exploits as she completes the system's quests. Unlike most other villainess stories there is actually a slight focus on action. Renee kept quite a

bit of her previously gained powers and is also still contracted to 3 powerful constellations. This allows for quite interesting character dynamics as none of the male leads are really capable of wooing Renee in the traditional ways usually seen in these stories. This is quite a refreshing take on the genre and is really fun to read. Sadly the male leads and other side characters are nothing to write home about. Nothing is really done to break the mold in this regard, besides the characters being quite literal cooky cutter tropes (shitty dad, shitty brother, not as shitty brother, puppy ml, crown prince ml etc etc) they are also not really all that interesting. The story does nothing to really make you care for any of them. This is further amplified by the lacking direction.
The greats of this genre are good because time is spent to develop relationships with characters only to add some new element into the mix to disrupt the flow. This disruption only works because the reader has become invested. In this manhwa the focus on plot/action usually takes the front stage and while the otome isekei aspects are interwoven in this, it still feels like an afterthought. As a result neither aspect is developed to a satisfactory level. While charming, the combination of characters, genres and themes feel more like a way to fill out a checklist than a way to make a compelling story, especially considering the pace that the story seems to be going. Granted, it is possible some sort of plottwist is coming, but so far this doesn't seem to be the case so far.
The art of this manhwa is honestly incredible. Done by the artist behind 'beware the villainess', which is already acclaimed for its art, this manhwa only improves upon it. The characters are uniquely designed, gorgeously drawn and the art is very consistent. The action is second to none and honestly stands up to some of the best action manhwa. It really is worth reading just for the art, it really feels like a big budget production.
Overall I think this series is good, not great. Very above average on all levels but nothing, besides the art, to standout in any meaningful way. It is trying to do too much in a short amount of time and the character writing is also not quite there, but it is being held together very competently and is quite fun to read as a result.
