This manga is a perfect blend of light-hearted comedy, fantasy, and heartfelt moments. A reimagining of how cupids would work in a modern setting (namely with guns and bullets instead of bows and arrows), the story follows Koharu, who has just become a cupid, learning the ropes to her new job. Similarly to myths, cupids must shoot their chosen targets to make them fall in love, but if the targets aren't compatible, things will still fall out in the long term, so the cupids will have to choose carefully. There is only one volume currently, but the premise is exciting and original.

[Action]
I was surprised this ... is the author's first work since the story is compelling, tugging on my heartstrings at times, and the art is superb and stylistic. The gunfights are drawn brilliantly and are the bread and butter in this modern cupid society. So, if you aren't looking for action-packed scenes of essentially girls wielding guns with the skills of someone out of a John Wick movie, then I'd suggest you move on.

[Character/Story]
The story's pacing is very lovely, with the author fleshing out Koharu, our main protagonist, and introducing the readers to the tone of storytelling. Volume 1 focuses on Koharu, exploring her past and how she ended up where she is; we see who Koharu is in the present, her choices, and her values. The last few chapters wrap up her introductory arc nicely, tying any loose ends she has from the past. I have a personal bias in that I value character depth a LOT. And this manga has done precisely what I like to see in stories. Since the first six chapters revolve around the protagonist, the side characters might seem to conform to trope-y personalities; HOWEVER, there is more than meets the eye. You can already spot glimpses of complexity in the side characters—I am betting some angsty past—and are just waiting for their turn to shine, i.e. dragging us into another heart-tugging character arc :D.

All in all, this has been a fun read (and reread), so if all this sounds right, I suggest you give it a go!

This premise & setting is simply fun and it shows lot of promise into becoming something even more compelling.
As it currently stands it feels like a bit of a mix of both Angel Beats (the balance of humor, action, and drama and reflecting on life) and like a magical girl anime, which leads to a lot of tension and engaging fight scenes.
At the time of this review there's only 1 volume out and in those 6 chapters, the pacing was great, the art was clean and I felt a range of emotions.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the story continues to unfold.

A yuri manga about modern day cupids matchmaking people and their antics - do I need to say more?

It's the exact kind of manga that would do SO WELL animated. Especially the action scenes, as the cupids resolve their inner conflicts by fighting. And no, they don't use bows anymore. These cupids use guns and grenades.

The cupid designs are quirky, unique, and aesthetically pleasing. The author's artstyle has such a lovely retro feel to it that makes for a very charming, refreshing and easy to follow lecture.

As for the plot, it takes you on a roller coaster of emotions - and to manage that with ... only a single volume out is truly praise worthy. It touches upon themes of grief, unrequited love, and female friendship with the right amount of humor and comfort.

All in all, it's a rather promising manga that proposes a novel concept, easily enjoyable. It's definitely worth the time and all the support it can be given.

Honeslty i expected a B-tier writing for this but it's actually a good manga!
It has a very slice of life feel to it, rather than having a huge main story line, at this point in time, it seems more like stories of each mission and their choices, the way its structured is similar to Horimiya.
My friend who's into guns and he is overall satisfied with them other than the fact that its heart-themed.
It so naturally just has the girl-love aspect to it, it's quite nice, sweet and refreshing.

the characters for now just seem to fit the stereotype but thats understandable considering its only 6 ... chapters, but i still like what ive seen so far because the ones we've seen more of do not seem shallow. (IM A KANNA ENTHUSIAST!!!!!)

the artstyle is simple so its not overwhelming to the eye, sort of simple but effective and its also just really pretty, so definitely give it a try

(ignore the one "not reccomend" comment cuz i think theyre just spiteful, guns dont have to be brought up in a climactic way especially if it is normal for them. that statement was pretty silly 💀)

Love Bullet shows a lot of promise! It's engaging off the bat, and the worldbuilding is charming and simple, and seems like it'll be really easy to immerse yourself into with more expansions on the lore down the line! The author makes great use of a down to earth teary story mixed with cute and silly characters so far that hook you and make you eager to see them interact and learn more. I appreciate the use of the manga medium to show the difference between cupids and humans, too; it's a nice touch! To be honest, there's not much out as of writing this, ... but it's a quick and moving read that will make you hope for more soon, and I hope the manga gets the funding it needs!

Only one volume is out at the moment of writing this.The series has a good concept and it has a decent emotional hook, the readers should find it easy to sympathize with the main character and her struggle as soon as they read her backstory. One of the aspects of the manga is the art, the way Inee-sensei draws the action here is really something special, she is very talented. I wished more yuri / GL were like this instead of just giving us another slice of life school romances and melodramas.
Anyway, overall I like what I've seen so far, there's potential ... for greatness because there are a lot of places the author can take the story.

I took interest when I saw one of the scenes without context and was like "wtf this is about?". Then I find out it was a Yuri and immediately got to read. I was not expecting much, and maybe that was I like it alot. The art style is really beautiful and I liked most of the characters right away, especially the protagonist and her "senpai". I literally have no idea how the story goes from where they're now to the main goal and I'm kind anxious about that. Until now it's a pretty good read (I genuinely cried once) and hope it continue being ... published. :)
