Love Bullet shows a lot of promise! It's engaging off the bat, and the worldbuilding is charming and simple, and seems like it'll be really easy to immerse yourself into with more expansions on the lore down the line! The author makes great use of a down to earth teary story mixed with cute and silly characters so far that hook you and make you eager to see them interact and learn more. nana was a trainwreck i couldn't look away from. from the very start they tell you they part ways by the end, and they remind you over and over, and yet nana and hachiko's continuous downspiral is something that breaks your heart the further the story goes.
as others' thinkpieces have said, it's really about being in your 20's, your early 20's, when the world is frightening and yet also your oyster. anything seems possible but you quickly realize, not everything is. the show thrives off of making its audience uncomfortable and being painfully relatable. it's supposed to remind you of the parts of yourself you're ashamed ... |
