Both revolves around the "Romeo and Juliet" theme. [Spoiler!] In kami ka, the "R+J" theme became a happy ending instead of a tragic one. In Romeo x Juliet, the story followed a tragic ending like "R+J". Of course in different ways. You'll surely like both if you're looking for a "new" kind of R+J.

In both there are two families who are enemies, and their descendents fall in love.

Both have girls who were raised up as a commoner but later on, they were told to be the last of their house and the last remaining heiress to the house and the servants also wished for the revival of the house. both also have princes who are half brothers. although RxJ has a bit violence than a kiss to my prince
