This will be my first ever review. This series compelled me to write as such. I think this is one of the very rare few that gets the balance between Slice of Life and Romance together right. The author knows when it is the best time to go into Romance mode from SoL mode.
Now as the others have already said, it really is hard to describe why this series hooks you. If you get bored at the first few chapters then I highly recommend that you just push through.

Well, I’d be the first one to admit that I was not a fan of this manga in the beginning due to the lack of progression for two relatively hollow and dense characters, but with patience, the manga is nothing but rewarding. The premise of this manga is as basic as it comes with an introverted, quiet girl followed by a peeving boy who is curious about her, but the twist is from the interest in cats. This story has something special in it that you do not really expect at first glance. It's really difficult to describe it with words, which is weird considering how at the end of the day it is a relatively "standard" romance story featuring a cute female MC and a self-insertion male MC. But it truly feels different from any other story of its kind. The wholesome moments, while relatively rare, are the most rewarding I've seen in ages. Another plus is the gorgeous art style. Every panel where the female MC appears is a painting. You can really tell how the author loves to draw
