This power fantasy Manhwa features someone who reincarnated into his video game as a side character and has to become the main character to finish the storyline, specifically changing the storyline to have a better ending than any of the routes originally in the game. The game is a dating sim RPG but this manhwa doesn't actually lean too hard into the RPG elements unlike most stories in this genre because the main character is only meant to be a side character without full access to the main character UI. The name of this manga wound up being quite strange. I came into this expecting something like Death Note, a protagonist commits a murder and the police/detectives slowly close in as he tries to cover it up. It could have been a very refreshing and thrilling story. Instead, the murder happens (The MC kills an abusive partner after travelling back in time for second chance at life) and stops being relevant. This all happens at the very start, and after its done it just... ends? The thrilling and morally dubious stakes hinted by the title just don't pan out.

The first couple chapters were really good, but everything after that is just regular power fantasy cringy manhwa shit. It's plot had the potential to be really good, and I was hoping it would be good since I liked the artist's other works, but it turned out to just be like every other cliche manhwa. There's others doing the same exact thing but better. Good idea, poor execution. It was sad how the plot devolved into slop. It's worth reading, but it's not worth getting excited over.
