When I read romance I prefer more of a build-up everything in this felt like it happened so quickly. This story offered nothing new to romance and I didn't really get into it expecting a whirlwind story. but when a story is so basic I expect it to be done well. The characters are very one-note; I've seen side characters with stories that fall into these same clichés with more interesting than the main characters.
