3 chapters out till now and It's pretty good

Initially the MC murdered the person who raped his little sister and caused her to kill herself

He is sent to prison for 7 years and once he's out he decides that he wants to kill himself, as he feels like he is to be blamed for the demise of this sister

Right before he takes the step to kill himself, he sees a girl praying at his little sister's grave.

*skip to last paragraph for no spoilers*

He then realises that this girl was actually the daughter of the rapist he murdered, and he is also going to be adopted ... into his family, so initially the daughter of the person who he murdered, becomes his sister

In the latest chapter he writes a suicide note and tries killing himself, but is stopped by this girl

Overall it's been pretty good and interesting. A lot of mysterious yet to be solved, and a weird dynamic between the mc and the girl.
It is very dark tho, so avoid it if you don't enjoy that type of stuff

This manga is crazy dark, I recomend it to you . it's damn underrated. After reading 1st chapter, I liked it so much. hope this type of plot will continue in future

Story was not predictable, it was unique. After reading few panels of CHP 1 story was getting dark. It's preety emotional

Art style is also good. Main character is suffering very much in this manga, his life changed after one day

Yes, the characters reacted in realistic way here. Some people will enjoy this, as it is dark, but some will not be able to read it asckntent maturity is very high

I did put recommended, but this manga isn't for everyone. As you can tell from the synopsis, it's quite dark with the themes of sexual assault, suicide, murder, guilt. etc. The manga itself has very raw art, not in a bad way. It's kind of reminiscent of old chainsaw man art with thin lines and rough sketches.

There is a lot of emotion packed into the manga, but it feels very blunt and shoved in your face, instead of slowly developing into something that could make you shed tears. Not that it can't, but at the pace that the manga goes, it's just like watching ... a tragedy, something that goes by too quick to cry over. It isn't such a bad thing though, as it can convey many emotions through these very broken characters, which are all suffering from some issue, and they're all interconnected in some way. The MC was actually surprisingly mature, and is very satisfying to watch through his actions, always trying to bring about something better for the characters around him, while also having to deal with his own struggles, but I can't say much about the other characters without spoiling. Overall the characters and themes are great, and there is a lot of emotion.

The pacing sometimes feels like it's holding it back, with pretty short chapters, moving onto the next thing before we get to fully digest the current situation. I really do like this manga though, and I think it's quite underrated, and I hope it gets more readers, since I want to see the manga continue and how the characters will develop, which I think is the best part of the manga, the characters. They are all connected through one tragedy, the effect it has on all of their separate lives being the focal point of this manga, and how they will move on from it and grow as people and try to live, as a family.

I do hope the mangaka doesn't focus too much on adding random details about the tragedy that started, the whole manga. As much as people might be curious, I feel after chapter 13, we don't need any more random lore about it, and we would rather deal with the problems, instead of creating more. I do want them to start working on living normal lives instead of dwelling on the past. After all, the whole manga itself is a tragedy, full of broken characters trying to piece themselves together, through interacting with each other and atoning for each of their sins. I think the manga has a lot of potential going forward, if it goes in the right direction.

Synopsis:
After being raped by her teacher Kazuma Yuri committed suicide, which compelled her brother (Kazuma Waku) avenge his sister. For the crime of murder, Waku spent seven years in prison. He is haunted by the ideal that he has destroyed his family (not that his sister committing suicide wouldn't have done that) and left his mother to face society by herself and by the image of Sumire witnessing her father's murder (affectively destroying that family). Upon his release from prison, he moves in with his mother who works at an orphanage near his sister's grave and while visiting his sisters grave one day he comes ... across Sumire (an orphan) visiting the same grave.

This is a story with an abundance of drama and intrigue.

I have read through chapter 7 and enjoyed it so far.

Plot (10/10):
The author has constructed a clear, convincing, and compelling manga with a recognizable main arc of conflict, crisis, and resolution. The author has constructed a plot that is interesting and novel for a manga. More specifically, after his little sister was raped and she killed herself, her brother took revenge and killed her rapist (her teacher) in return. Seven years later the boy's released from prison, determined to kill himself due to insufferable guilt and depression until he happens to confront the rapist's daughter at his sister's grave. This is a tragic tale of guilt and atonement.

Theme (9/10):
“Saihate ni Madou” is a masterpiece about psychological tragedy where a man is trying to come to terms with his past and the effect put into mental recuperation (feelings of guilt, shame, and depression), reintegration into society, and the challenges he faces to rebuild a family which includes his mother and the daughter of the man he murdered. This is a truly heartwarming story with a lot of depressing and dark undertones. The theme and plot of this manga are both conflicts driven.

Characterization (10/10):
The author creates characters that are unique and memorable with complex and sometimes dark personalities. The reader finds themselves rooting for the protagonist as he is trying to atone for his past. The author is very adept at character development that is spread throughout the manga. The dialogue of the characters utilized throughout the manga is distinct to the characters age and mood.

Art & Setting (9/10):
“Saihate ni Madou” is done in the Seinen art style which has a more mature theme, with realistic character designs with a deep complex storyline. The artwork in the manga is very well drawn with the settings having clean lines and appropriate for the action and placement of the characters actions that are being depicted, without any anachronisms.

Mechanics (9/10):
I do not speak Japanese but in the translated version that I read, it was very easy to follow and understand what was happening without any spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors.

Passion (10/10):
The author is adept at making you care about the drama that is occurring in the manga. The plot and theme of the manga are interesting in that the protagonist is constantly dealing with psychological issues related to past tragedies.

There's something special about this kind of uncomfortable story.

Yes, I got into it because the premise was disturbing. It seems like such an interesting plot description, and something not many could even DARE to touch upon. Not in the “this is a disturbing manga” category, I've read a fair share of those. This one feels much rawer.

It's a situation loads have thought about. “What if somebody was the cause of a family member's death?”, to which many would answer, “I'd kill them” without much of a second thought. What about afterward? What comes after the crime, after harming that which ruined your life? Well, the ... manga starts there. The MC decided to kill his sister's rapist in front of his little daughter. Twisted to no end, questioning everything about the event, and questioning if authorities should've put their hand there. It questions killing for vengeance, and the things that happen after are EVEN more interesting.

These people are linked forever, whether they like it or not. We go from such a tragic event, and such a challenge to the readers, to how both the MC and the little daughter develop something you can't just describe easily. Both need each other to live, to exist within the face of the earth. An objective, they cling to the idea that they can survive if they have each other, even if each of them believes they took everything from each other.

I loved this manga, not just for how it tackles its events, but how people unpredictably, but logically react to the surrounding situations. The feelings of guilt, suicidal tendencies, symbiosis, purpose, forgiveness, SELF forgiveness. It's a small manga, which could be made into an incredible animated film. While writing this, I felt the manga might've been a little overdramatic with some scenes, but man… you can't just assume these people can be that rational. This event marked their lives, and they're willing to die at any point if something changes in a single day. Living day to day, wishing for an answer to live or die in that day. How could I even begin to comprehend the implications of that? Well, I remembered well-lost memories. Memories I thought were gone.

Every character was perfect, and each event they lived through makes sense at every point. It got a little too shocking at times, reminding me that even after I've read so much disturbing stuff, there's still whiplash for an implication that goes far from what I expected.

Little mention on the art. Reminded me of Chainsaw-Man in its kind of… sketchiness? With so much beauty at the rawest points of emotion. The portraits of people suffering from the aftermath of an action. Their face, the perspective around them warping as they realize, it's always about realizing. There's so much meat in this small story.

This manga truly brings out emotions I couldn't describe. As I was seeing the characters evolutions, I felt something beyond the scope of the manga. Something I felt with “A Silent Voice”, and “Three Days of Happiness”. The willingness to change, and the power to look at yourself and agree, for once, that you wish to see the sun rise tomorrow, even if you didn't feel that a day before.

Watching characters bounce around their will to live was very upsetting, and a reminder to allow ourselves to be happy, even if we blame ourselves for other's unhappiness.

9.4/10. What a ride, and so quick too.

Kazuma killed his sisters teacher after he found out that the teacher raped his sister.

His sister took her own life after being assaulted.

He also realises by killing the teacher he messed up his family, her teachers family, what ppl thinks of him and also sent to jail.

Feeling guilty he tries to kill himself many times until he meets the teachers daughter.

This manga is a banger and unique so far. The art style is amazing. I enjoyed reading the few released chapters so far.

for whoever wants to read this manga prepare your emotion first cuz I cry like 3 time after reading it its underrated and have a lot plot twist I recommend this manga but not for a person that find fight or romance manga just for your health if you angry on one char in here just let it out

Is the story unique? yes of course its like my first time read manga like this but I think there is some manga that have same story. but still this manga underrated

Yesterday I was simply scrolling YouTube when a youtuber had recommended this masterpiece.The story is very good although the MC is suffering very much inside.This story is a bit depressing and when you first start reading it you feel like you are the MC and start feeling.Definetely not for weak hearted people.

The art style is fantastic,the moment I saw the manga cover page it felt very emotional by seeing the girl cry.Wishing that the girl should help him overcome his guilt and fear.Hoping for a romantic relationship between them.

... I think the MC is a bit overthinking in nature but thinking in his shoes everyone would feel the same.The girl is definitely strong.These type of manga which deal about real life situations should not be suppressed but should be supported because no one talks about it.

Lastly,I absolutely recommend this manga to everyone and help them realise that you are not the only one who is in bad situation.Until then CHEERS!!

When I read the summary of this story, I was quite captivated by it and figured it would be another amazing dark manga which covered some adult themes and hopefully a story where we see a person overcome such horrible difficulties.

The crime he committed and the reason behind it was covered too fast and the moment you take a second to think about it, it just doesn't make any sense. It left me feeling like the author just half-assed it.
While there are only a few chapters so far, they move at a really fast momentum, not giving much time to process the things that are ... happening.
Not many chapters out there, so there's not a whole lot to say about the characters so far.

However, the art is quite good, fits the story quite well.
