With a premise such as "stepsister and stepbrother love each other and live under the same roof", I was certainly not expecting much and figured it would just be soft-core porn.
Sufficed to say that my conjecture was correct.
Spoilers down below.
We're treated to a popular, handsome boy that sleeps with every girl that shows interest in him and he does not care about love or anything like that. Nevertheless, he does start to develop feelings for the smart, quiet girl in class(that's actually a huge, kinky degenerate and the daughter of his father's new wife) that really wants to sleep with him. First half is
...
all well and good and to be expected for a manga of this nature. However, I was not prepared for the second half of this series.
Not once, but twice does the main female protagonist cheat in quite a severe way. It might only be her reciprocating their kisses and groping, but it's still too much cheating for my taste.
One positive thing is that the art is good for a series of this nature, drawn well enough and it fits the manga.
If you're the type of person that gets off on cuckolding, this is the series for you. If not, look elsewhere.

Editing my review after reading up to chapter 17.
Kanojo no Uwaki is about a 20 year old college student that got cheated on by his ex gf. He's down in the slumps and thanks to the myriad of beautiful girls he meets, he will hopefully overcome his heartbreak.
It's a rather straightforward story, that many other seasoned romance readers have most likely experienced. A story of a self-insert MC that's oblivious to the feelings of others and he's the only guy that wants more than just a sexual relationship. Thanks to these unique traits, a ton of adorable girls flock around him and develop feelings for
...
him the moment they lay eyes on him.
We're treated to all the basic stereotypes that most romance stories follow, leaving a sense of "I've seen this before" instead of sitting at the edge of your seat, wondering how it's going to play out.
Adding to this, the story moves quite fast, pumping out cliche after cliche. This wouldn't be an issue if the author had added some of their own flavour to these classic tropes. But sadly they are cookie-cutter and it doesn't take much to figure out how the characters are going to react.
Another small gripe I have with this manga is how they constantly mention how beautiful and cute the main characters are. Whether it's through outright stating they're beautiful or having people gawk with their mouths open. For the fun of it, I've counted it for the first chapter and it happened 3 times for one girl. Not even mentioning all the cute poses she does to remind you she's pretty. People don't have to be slapped in the face with how cute a character is, usually one glance is all you need to figure that out.
Even though I might come off as negative, I would still give this manga a 5 out of 10. It's nothing offensive and the art is nice to look at. However, no amount of gorgeous art is going to save a sub-par story with bland characters.
I would recommend this manga to you if you want to see attractive girls doing sexy poses. If you're looking for more, there are a lot of other manga's out there that do this a whole lot better.

When I read the summary of this story, I was quite captivated by it and figured it would be another amazing dark manga which covered some adult themes and hopefully a story where we see a person overcome such horrible difficulties.
The crime he committed and the reason behind it was covered too fast and the moment you take a second to think about it, it just doesn't make any sense. It left me feeling like the author just half-assed it.
While there are only a few chapters so far, they move at a really fast momentum, not giving much time to process the things that are
...
happening.
Not many chapters out there, so there's not a whole lot to say about the characters so far.
However, the art is quite good, fits the story quite well.

If there is one word I could use to describe this manga it would be "forgettable".
I don't mean forgettable in a bad way, but forgettable in the sense it has nothing unique. The author seems to be afraid to deviate from the standard cookie-cutter characters and plot.
Spoilers below, so better to skip the next two paragraphs.
Firstly, the two protagonists. Asuka is just your standard male protagonist that just has the unfortunate luck of looking like a Yakuza. Plot twist, he's actually a really nice guy that's focused on his studies. Something we've seen in other mangas before that have captured this way better.
Satsuki is
...
a shy girl that is the only one that sees that he's actually a nice guy and his appearance doesn't reflect his personality.
As for the plot. It's nothing to write home about. In the 14 chapters I've read, it feels like it's a race to tick all the classic romcom issues. They show one of the protagonists getting jealous, the conflict where the class finds out they're dating, the festival where they end up having some alone time, sharing food from their bento, shyness when asking the other to hang out during a schooltrip.
When we reach the stage where he confesses to her, it left me feeling unsatisfied. There were no conflicts, not character growth between them first meeting and dating. There is nothing about either character that gives them any sort of depth. Their love bloomed for no apparent reason and it felt like another checkmark to tick.
Would I recommend this manga? Sure, it's a rather inoffensive manga that follows the standard issues we read in almost every other romcom. It's great for people new to the shoujo/romcom genre or someone that has nothing better to do. However, if you're experienced to this genre, your time would be much better invested reading any of the other hundreds of romcoms out there.
