Synopsis

Yatarou Araki, a member of the Toujou High School soccer team, has big dreams. Within a decade, he sees himself conquering the soccer world's loftiest peak: European "football!" Fast forward to what may be his last soccer match before graduation, the match that will make or break his dreams. Having thus far failed to attract the attention of scouts, he is now desperate do whatever it takes to prove himself. Yatarou is prepared to get his hands dirty if it means winning. Recently we have seen since really interesting football/soccer manga....r example- Ao Ashi, Blue Lock, Be blues, Giant killing.
There are a few average manga too.

Catenaccio here is a very good manga and might be among the best, if it keeps up the story.
Very realistic, goes into the details of the sport and shows you how the youth academies and the lower leagues function.

This story is about Yataro Araki, a Japanese highschooler who is dedicated to football. By dedicated I mean fully dedicated!! He wakes up early to warm up, practises alone, with teammates. Playes matches, cools down. While his body rests, he reads up about tactics ...

This is my first review on MAL and I hope I can review it well.

This is another football manga which I really enjoyed, not only as a huge football fanboy but the mental aspects of this manga is really interesting, using the drive of the individual Yatarou Araki to see how far he can reach the heights of football is the ultimate enjoyment as a reader.

The struggles Yatarou Araki faces during his journey to be a footballer has been orchestrated very well by the author, the emotions, languages used has drawn me into the character, all of us dream of being a footballer but ...

This is my first review here and probably my last for a while. This would also be this manga's first comment here so I thought "why not congratulate this great manga that apparently no-one knows".

To start off, I like football, I played for almost a decade and I love watching and playing it. I was also a defender, so this manga resonates with me in a way that Blue Lock could never (though I also love Blue Lock).
