Woah, a whole lot heavier than I would have expected. Yes, plenty of cuteness with a grumpy seasoned stray cat taking in an oblivious freshly lost domesticated cat. But you also get a peek into things like how older cats aren't adopted as often, the constant struggles for food outside, how dangerous being stuck without help can be, and so on. No cat deaths as of the first volume and I don't think the series will really take that turn, but still there's the phantom of it around every corner.

This is a harrowing tale about two cats doing their best to survive in the harsh world of a normal city, full of things beyond their understanding. Humans can be both benevolent benefactors, fickle allies or dangerous enemies. Other cats or animals can be companions, can be of use or be grave threats.
This is also a extremely cute and soothing manga depicting adorable cats and all their cute antics. Cat-like behavior is depicted with all it's oddities and funny hijinks.
