The mom is very cute and chubby and bubbly. Also the daughter mc is cute too I guess.
As of me writing this (4 chapters in) the story has not advanced much, but they are clearly building up to the mc picking up the sport of pole-dancing, contrasting her tomboyish tendencies and desire not to srtand out and instead be "normal", instilled by a turbulent life with her mom.
The series starts off endearing and well-drawn, why not give it a shot?
(lol, MAL is not letting me publish this until I write a longer review for this 4 chapter series, so I guess this paragraph works

More than I expected, would be how I would summarize this series in brief.
I came to Species Domain looking for cute fantasy girls doing cute things and I was not disappointed, since there are a lot of really cute expressions and some genuinely funny moments. However I was surprised that this manga did seem to go the extra mile whenever the chance, be that through plot twists, attention to detail to secondary characters or just a heartfelt, honest examination of it's characters. For a non-spoiler example elve/dwarf/other fantasy people are not just born in the world of Species Domain, but swapped with other human babies. This ... Jan 10, 2024

COWARDS! DAMN, DIRTY COWARDS!
This manga has been listed by 2,000+ users, but nobody ever wrote a review until now. Coincidence? Nope, I think a lot y'all are too embarassed and immature to discuss this series like proper adults. Pathetic! Premise: There is a condition that makes men cum diamonds at the cost of their lifespan, while also secreting attracting pheromones. Our MC has this condition. Positives: This series combines the over the top scenario's and pretend-seriousness of something like "World's End Harem" with the light-hearted silliness of a sex comedy, think American Pie. There are a lot of funny lines and absurd scenes depicted skillfully by ... Dec 20, 2023
Glaucos is one of those titles that made me lament the fact that only a handful of seinen titles without an anime adaptation are recognised and discussed by the general weeb community. One of these series is undoubtedly Morning Magazine's flagship title Vagabond, but I actually think Glaucos would be very appreciated by the same kind of audience that story enjoys. Fans of series like Mushishi or the Climber will probably also get something out of it.
It's a beautifully detailed manga with loads of nuanced facial expressions that takes a meditative look at nature and the sea through the lense of a prodigious free diver, ... Dec 19, 2023
A over the top silly harem concept executed quickly, with great art and cheeky humor.
The monster girls are fairly humanoid, but the author (who I was surprised to learn also did the more popular Killing Bites) clearly put some thought behind what each sort of insect would have as their charm points in a human context, giving you a few enotomology facts along the way. It's worth the read if you are not opposed to nudity/ecchi, you won't miss a masterpiece, but it's a fun thing you can waste half an hour on. If series like Rent A Girlfriend get loads of volumes and anime, Konchuki ... Feb 3, 2023

Unfortunately this show looks really bad, like have you ever noticed how weird the producers eyebrows are. Aside from that everything tends to look very flat and the patterns of the outfits are pretty bad.
There were some decent jokes, but way too much straigth man pointing out the joke-ism, especially unnecessary since all the characters are roughly equally depraved, which too could have been used for humor but was rarely. This is primarily a fetish show with a slight idol aesthetic, which is fine, but most of the fetishes did not appeal to me like smell fetishism, light yandere or the main girl constantly pissing herself. ... You should read it, it's worth the short while you will spent on it.
I've checked out this short horror manga, because of the Ryukishi07 name and was pleasently surprised by how much I ended up enjoying it. The length obviously does not allow for a similar level of complexity and depth as the likes of Higurashi or Umineko and many of the topics, such a superstition, bullying and a critique of the japanese education system are pretty familiar, but the story as a whole still feels pretty fresh and has a fairly unique protagonist. The art is also great at conveying atmosphere and is not ... Oct 7, 2018
Disclaimer: This review is not coming from a huge KnK fan. I do not dislike the series and thus far every movie had at least one unique and interesting thing to offer. This one however is easily the worst and I am honestly baffled that it has such a high score.
Characters: Well the usual suspects, Shiki, Mikiya and Touko are their usual selfes and do not get significantly challenged or developed, as to be expected of a side-story that is not needed to understand the main plot. The movie introduces quite a few new characters with two female ones feeling painfully bland and tropey, with ... |
