To start off with every chapter has a small or big time skip so be prepared for that.
You don't really know who the real MC is since it goes back and forth, we do get to see more of the short brown haired guys point of view so I will be referring to him as the MC and black haired character the ML.
The ML is probably autistic, I'm not educated on autism but I remember watching a show where there was an autistic girl and she acts a bit like the the ML (the black haired character) and it isn't mentioned in the
...
manga that he is autistic so I could be wrong.
As for their love story, well most of the manga revolves around their interactions, how they met, how the ML fell in love and the rest is of the MC VERY slowly coming to terms that he is gay and in love with the ML. I'm talking about 6-7 years of him slowly realizing it and then not wanting to accept it, to him finally accepting it. As of chapter 6 there is no smut, so sadly we don't get to see their 1st time together which would have been cute since it seems they are both virgins since they mentioned their 1st kiss was with each other which was super cute!
Overall ML is cute and you cheer for him & feel bad for his pain, a lovable character and the MC grows on you! I recommend!
--------------------------BELOW IS THE SPOILERS!!!!!----------------------------
The ML is a cute lovable honest character meanwhile the MC is kind of annoying for first KNOWING the ML loved him yet him acting like he didn't know and then saying something about it being "gross or disgusting" and his best friend corrects him and tells him "IF that isn't how you feel then don't say that" That part made me not like the MC, followed by him finally realizing he had feelings for the ML yet denying it even though everyone was telling him it's okay and accepting of the ML being gay. I understand people come out when they want to but the MC kept being hard headed and testing the ML when he knew the ML wouldn't understand or know that the MC liked him unless the MC told him straight up. Even the ML says academic tests are different from understanding social matters.
Even with all that thankfully the MC realized he was wrong for that, and saved himself for the ML instead of trying to force himself to like girls when he knew he didn't and everyone around him told him there is nothing wrong with being gay.
