I genuinely love and hate this manga. On one hand, it's one of the most interesting pieces of literature I’ve read due to how absurdly obsessive the fmc is, but on the other hand, the Mc is such a deadbeat.

He’s not a deadbeat in the sense where he’s useless — actually, scrap that he’s entirely useless — either way, he’s such a deadbeat in kindness that he causes so much more harm than good, especially towards the fmc. He’s probably the singular factor holding this manga back, as every time you’d think he’d change his character and progress, he continues to take 10 steps backward, ... rewriting everything.

Though, I must say, the interactions the fmc continues to have with such a hopeless mc does make the manga really interesting.

Pushing that aside, the plot has so much to offer, as all the events are a spin on the classic yandere tropes, but the manga somehow does it in a funny, original way. However, it also isn’t well-written in the traditional sense, as the backstory for most characters do suck, and a lot of things aren’t explained, but hey, who cares about all that stuff when Nanase-san is the best yandere alive.

Idk, maybe I’m just being a simp for the fmc, as I WOULD. ahem, anyways, she’s not exactly the brightest yandere, as she does do A LOT of dumb things that would make the mc hate her rather than love her, but that’s also her charm.

Something about the vibe of this manga just makes it so binge-worthy, and I can’t explain it fully. All I know is that the writing may not be the best, but the yandere is cute, so I’ll read it anyways.
