Although I don’t like comparing manwhas to each other due to the lack of disparity, I can’t help but be reminded of The Tutorial Tower’s Advanced Player with each passing chapter. The major factor for this comparison is due to the mc’s status and personality, while having a similar art style.
To expand on the mc, he doesn’t have much depth nor will he undergo much change besides for getting stronger. As for the side characters, there are your typical, ignorant villains along with the submissive and awe inspired side characters due to the mc. In other words, no character has more than one trope to
...
revolve their personality around. With the lack of character depth, the world-building, engagement, and plot aren’t much different nor are special.
With all the negatives being said, you’d assume it would be a dumpster fire, but it’s strangely enjoyable to a certain degree. Whether it is due to the comedy or the mc’s ignorant journey, the manwha becomes a solid, mindless read to past the time.
PS: It’s definitely a story you’d bookmark and forget about until there’s a next chapter; even then, you might not even click on it due to the lack of enticement.
