Ge-Good ending is an outstanding manga !

I have to say it's one of the best love mangas i have ever read and i have read many of them .One of the best parts about this manga is the story .Nowadays romance manga repeat everything we already know but to me Ge is like a fresh breeze of romance so passionate that i wish i was in the main characters role in real life .

I highly recommend you read this manga if you're into romance manga like me but warning if you like drama and romance get ready for some tears.

I GIVE IT A 9/10

Good Ending is a shounen with romance as the main thing, and a bit of tennis. It's difficult to compare it with another shounen romances, because is pretty unique.
It has a wonderful art, and a good pace.

Utsumi, the main character, although has problems with love, wants to change, and little by little he does so. He is not perverted (only a bit in his imagination), is kind, and doesnt give up easily.
There are two main girls: Yuki, a serious, calm and intelligent, she helps Utsumi to confess, and Shou, cheerful and hiperactive she is the captain of the tennis club, and the crush of ... Utsumi.

This isn't a harem, the girls don't start liking Utsumi because he did something good to them, and this is a point in favor of this series.
There is a bit of ecchi (specially in the covers of the chapters), but generally is related to the plot, it isn't a free ecchi.

The only drawback of this manga its the plot. It's not really a big issue, but more than Utsumi confenssing to Shou, and the reasons of the help of Yuki, the isn't another plot. But the manga it's starting, with the pace it has, something should happen.

As I said comparing this manga with the another shounen romance ongoings is difficult, but I'll try to highlight some points:

Ane Doki: Ane Doki has much more ecchi and in my opinion innecesary.
Kimi no Iru Machi: I like KNIM, but i think, Utsumi is a better main character than Haruto. He has problems, but he fights to be a better person, and when bad things happen, he take all seriously.

I give this series a 9 because the story can be even better...

The first romance anime I ever watched was "Kimi ga Nozomu Eien" (Rumbling Hearts); and since then no other romance has just quite satisfied me. Whether the characters were too shallow, the plot was too cliche, or any other wide variety of faults, I was always disappointed- until now.

For me, being able to relate to the characters is one of the most important parts of a manga/anime. If I can't relate, I won't even try to finish the manga/anime. Some where down the road, someone decided that making the main character a helpless, worthless sack of shit was a good idea, and for some reason ... almost all the other authors jumped on the bandwagon. GE: Good Ending starts off with a male character that fits into the former category, but fortunately he turns into a normal human being who can actually wipe his own ass.

What pisses me off the most is when the supporting characters seem to fall on their knees and grovel for this aforementioned worthless character. Thankfully all the romance in this was at least somewhat believable. We got some good character development, peering into their pasts, which showed us why each character did what they did, which leads me to the next point.

For me, unless the manga is super short, romance without drama is very boring. The problem with drama in romance is the fact that usually the author will blow everything out of scale. The author wants to keep the drama relatable, so he/she makes the drama a small problem- something like a bad breakup. However to keep the story moving, that one breakup ruins several peoples lives, making the story seem almost silly. GE has quite a bit of drama, at some points their was maybe even too much drama for my taste, but all the effects of the drama were believable. One character has a sex tape spread throughout the school without her consent, and after that she has a hard time wanting to love; which I feel is very believable.

As far as art goes, I felt it fit the story line perfectly. It wasn't too dark, but it wasn't too.... fluffy(?) either. I don't think anyone will have any complaints with the art. I found myself enjoying the story line almost every second I was reading. In fact, I read this manga for 6 or so hours straight, and finished it one sitting. The story was just long enough to give us a really deep emotional attachment to all the characters, but it wasn't to long as to let the drama get redundant.

The only reason I gave GE: Good Ending a 9, and not a 10, is because the main character started out as the kind of character I truly despise the most; a worthless sack of shit. If you get turned off by this fact, however, do not fear. After about 10 or 15 chapters his act turns around and he turns into one of the best romance protagonists I've seen. GE: Good Ending isn't quite on the level of Rumbling Hearts (in my opinion), but it sure comes close. If you want some romance with a bit of drama; you won't be disappointed.

Good Ending is a very unique shounen romance and it isn't for everyone. I would recommend this to shounen romance veterans, but tell newbies to read some of the "classics" before this one in order to get the most out of it. This may also be a good read for someone who doesn't like how typical shounen romances solve conflicts.

GE is a combination cliche shounen and realistic story. The characters and conflicts are pretty commonly seen in other manga, but the resolutions are actually realistic. Accidents and misunderstandings occur but the characters actually question those events instead of running away. They seek ... help from their friends, they fight for what they want, they apologize when they are wrong. This is both the manga's strongest quality and it's weakest. This is because the author actually likes to resolve conflicts so there end up being A LOT of them.

Basically, rather than one misunderstanding or fight that leads to a breakup which has you question "will the couple make it?" like in other manga, GE instead has the couple go through multiple ups and downs together enduring lots of events that could break them up only to resolve it rationally and move on. This can make GE feel really drama heavy as you are following a couple as they work out their issues together and with the help of their friends. There is also a lot of foreshadowing in the manga which can make some people restless.

I personally like how the conflicts are resolved, but others may not like the constant cliffhangers.

The art is very well done, and the mangaka is excellent depicting emotions through the art. Much of what the characters are feeling is shown through their faces and body language.

The characters all come across as very human and are multidimensional. The MC starts out weak, but he grows steadily. Unlike other shounen romance protagonists he is capable of doing the right thing and making aggressive moves. The main girl does have a bit of a dark past, so if troubled heroines aren't your thing you may want to avoid this.

In the end GE is mostly drama, but it does have a fair amount of comedy and plenty of quality ecchi. The tennis/sports aspect is pretty limited so don't read this looking for a sports manga.

One of the biggest weaknesses of japanese romances set in high school is that most of them don't feel like a high school. The (supposed) teenagers simply don't act like... well, teenagers. They act more like five years old who think that kissing results in babies. This annoyed me greatly, but, thankfully, not every japanese romance is like that. This is proven by Ge: Good Ending.

Beginning serialization is 2009 and ending in 2013, Ge: Good Ending was created, written and drawn by Kei Sasuga.

Its story doesn't seem very original, but if you get through the unassuming beginning, it gets better. Insanely better. It takes advantage ... of the clichés and subverts them. This makes the whole ride a lot more entertaining to the eye that already saw everything else.

Said that, the events that led up to the finale were just plain cliché and a tad bit melodramatic. But this is just one small hiccup in a road of greatness.

Each of the main and side characters pass through their own hardships and, at first, they seem to be the traditional ones, but the way they are dealt with is different and unique. Differently from most of other romance manga, the characters actually act on their wishes and aren't just indecisive kids.

Also, they aren't as innocent as high school manga normally portrays teenagers. They actually act like teenagers instead of crybabies that can't understand how relationships actually work. This brings a problem: they can be jackasses. But that is good, people can also be kind of di**s.

One thing that was extremely refreshing was that the protagonist Utsumi wasn dense. He noticed what was happening around him and, most of the times, acted on it. Also, he was actually affected by it and became marked by his situation, in a way that reminded me a lot of Haruki Kitahara from White Album 2.

The art is, as a whole, quite beautiful, but the character design took some time to get used to. The characters were much more... robust than in most of other manga, but this wasn't bad, just different.

Ge was a wild ride that hit every right not for me. It scratched an itch for unusual romance and realistic teenagers that built inside me for a long time. It knew how to use its strengths to make everything more enjoyable.

More experienced viewers/readers of romance will find a lot to like here, even if just by its refreshingness. But, and this is a big one, it needs a more experienced viewer to be fully enjoyed, as it plays with the clichés of the genre.

GE-Good Ending is one of my favorite mangas ever. It's a story from normal people, no super powers, nor aliens, etc. (most of the things that you actually see in loooots of mangas nowadays)
The story is very good, I got addicted to it since the first chapter I read; the characters are pretty well build (design and emotions), everyone with their very own characteristics, and I think you can get involved with them very easily. This manga is heavily recommended for all the people that like Comedy, Drama, Ecchi, Romance, School Life and Shounen stories. I got pretty much involved with each character, and ... I even found some usefull stuff to use in my real life (yeah, believe it or not).
That's everything I could figure out to put here, since I'm not very good in writing reviews or recommendations, but I had to do a review about this one, cause I like it a lot. That's my first review, I hope you guys enjoy it.

This is really one of my favorite romance manga I have ever read!
I have found it hard to find a nice romance manga that would please me in terms of having a good and intresting story with plot twists and a little bit of sexy action. This had them all and didn't go overboard with the sexiness and panty shots ect.
It really pleased me as a femal reader because I don't really care about seeing tits or anything in neither anime nor manga, but I do love to get exited when things get hot between a couple.
This manga had a nice mature perspective about ... relationships between young people and the characters were very easy to pond with and even though there were a lot of swinging feelings and it might have felt like the characters were repeating themselves, it really pleased me so I had to stay up late because I couldn't stop reading.
I would really recommend this for someone who likes romance but doesn't feel like the popular romance mangas please them enough.

I'm 29 years, its been a while since my high school days, and loves and tears from that time. But reading GE was almost like jumping into a time machine and wath those days again.

I cant say for the girls, but I cant imagine a more accurate image of a high school boy than Utsumi. His dilemmas, his fears, his desires, his uncertains, his mistakes... It was almost like watching at my past self or my friends'. It's amazing how a woman mangaka could understand us so damn well. And imo this is what makes GE so unique: despite being a work of fiction and ... some situations work of fantasy, the characters and their dramas are so real. Its aroller coaster of feelings, declarations; break ups and make ups, smiles and tears. And it all feels like its something a friend could go through, or even yourself.

The art itself is amazing, every girl is so cutely drawn, even the male characters gota lot of love from the mangaka.

If i were to compare GE with other manga, it would be I's. Both style wise and about how realistic the dramas and dilemas from that age are portraited. I honestly wish I've read this manga when i was 13 or 14ish; it would have thought me a lot.

On top of everything, we didnt get a stupid end like in Ichigo 100%. Despite my favorite girl didnt win, in the end everyone had their own Good Ending.

The story is a little cliche, where it's a very normal boy who starts off knowing only guys, but as the story progresses, he somehow finds himself surrounded by girls.

The story is quite simple. A boy falls for the leader girl in the tennis club, but is too scared to do anything about it. As he was watching the girl from afar, he got caught! Instead of reporting him, the girl who caught him instead chose to help him "woo" the tennis girl. The male character is very easy to relate to if you're a guy, because of his inexperiences, and nervousness when talking ... to a girl. However, he is assisted on how to "woo" the tennis girl, which is something that alot of guys wished they had.

The general story isn't original, but each page is filled with humor in the little things, such as the humorous expressions, or the silly actions they do. The art is very well done, drawn in a more shounen way, which is more rare for pure romance manga.

Ecchi-ness, humor, romance, a little bit of sports, harem, what more could you want?

I have some mixed feelings about this manga. While I really liked the art and the faces drawn by the author, while I found the plot interesting, I'm just fed up with the drama in this.

I mean it is too much... everytime for every little things it's just frustrating. In my opinion, drama is a genre that require a good balance, a balance with drama and happy times. The main problem with GE was the fact that you have just a new forced drama every 3 chapters that ... ruin the entire story. Basically GE had a big part of drama which was just... forced, you know those drama where, as a reader, you are just frustrated by how the characters are stupid and create drama because of their own stupidity and because of their lack of communication skills that leads to misunderstandings...

To conclude : the art is great in my opinion, story seemed interesting but everything has been leveled down by frustrating cliffhangers at the end of chapters and by the over representation of non necessary drama. I do not recomend if you seek for some realist relationship and if you like coherent well-paced drama. In those kind of stories, drama permit to add depth into characters to make them more likable not to ruin them and to make us hate them for their lack of logic. At some point, you could clearly see that the author was making the characters take some bad decisions only to create bad drama...

Let's talk about the characters ( BIG spoilers to read only if you are masochist or if you have finished GE) :

Seiji (MC) is probably the only character who has grown up since the chapter 1. During the whole plot he was a coward and a cuck, yes a cuck the best instance is when he tried to defend the boyfriend of Shô when this one had SEEN her boyfriend talking to his ex and saying to her "i want to get back with you" or something else. MC just said the biggest speech of his life to defend the boyfriend whose, i remind, cucked the MC at the beginning of the story. At least he was quite more brave throughout the story. Oh and i have forgotten. If Seiji has been dumped, it's only because of him because this idiot has made the relation tense by delaying the problem with yuki's ex AND because he was stubborn and he decided to live a relationship without any sexe. I mean he could have lived his relationship at his own pace like every normal man but he decided to be stupid and yuki has noticed he was forcing himself...

Yuki (main Girl) : at the start of the story, she was interesting and i really liked her. She was smart and she helped MC to grow up + she was mysterious with her past. Then there was this part where MC was conscious of liking her, he showed her that he liked her ( i mean you have to be blind to not see that...) and this idiot yuki did what ? She thought that MC was talking about an other girl..

It was just frustrating Yuki was smart at the begin and good to read emotions so WHY i just dont understand. Anyway the worst part about her is when she broke up with MC. Her reason ? "I give you too much trouble" just what the fuck ? You think leave him alone will make his problems vanish ?? If you want a relationship without taking your responsabilities then you buy a robot or a pillow with a waifu printed on it..

Then she was denying that she had still feeling for MC when MC asked her BUT she decided to confess that she still has feelings for him when the MC goes out with Shô. It's a joke ? What is she trying to do ? I could at least understand if MC didnt give her any chances but he just gave her a bunch of chances after they broke up and she litteraly rejected everything coldly but now that he's dating with an another woman she confesses. It was a joke, i have never seen a character that bad, Yuki in my opinion has regressed since the beginning of the story. She went from a very good character to an illogical character who only acts to force the drama into the story...

Shô : Well... She is the same from the first chapter to the last. She has cucked MC with her senpai who only used her because this one was sad after a breakup then (logic) it didn't finish well. Then she dated with MC anddd. Yes once again she dated with a guy that has just been dumped by his initial girlfriend and (drum roll) she, once again, has been dumped by the MC because this one was still loving yuki. At the end of the story she started dating again with this moron of senpai who cheated on her. The author tried to say to us that it was a good end for her but i'm not stupid I know how relationship works... She would have been better single at the end.

Risa : well she's a pity. It was sad to see her forcing with MC. Risa is the cliche of the beautiful girl who instantly fall in love with stupid and virgin MC because this one has been nice and kind for a stupid reason once in the story after their meeting. She is sad to see, she only serves to cause misunderstanding ( drama are you there ?) but at least she has been once in the story smart by talking to yuki to "defend" MC.

GE: Good Ending is basically just another ordinary shounen romance manga I thought. I was very prejudice on GE because the cover art was just not very convincing. For me, a typical romance manga must consist of "decent' looking characters for in which in GE's case does not.

Art- The art started off horribly, there were unnecessary shadings here and there on the character's face which made me totally mad, because it just ruined the face, especially on Yuki's lips, it made her look like she had thick lips although the description of her should be "fair and beautiful". However at the later half, the ... art started to improve bit by bit. The facial structure of the characters started to look "cuter" and less realistic and the portrayed expressions were much more convincing in the later half. Overall I scored the art 7/10.

Character- GE's characters were great in my opinion, they were well composed and acted according to their personality. Certain characters like Yuki and Izumi had past stories that were narated during the progression of the story, it was well done because the situation was not forced, each of the characters took time to gain the trust of their friends before opening up to them. One of my favourite characters in this series is Seiji, although he may be an airhead and an idiot, he still understands how to treat a lady well and not make reckless decisions like giving in to his lust. Although there were certain repatative tempting flirting events, Seiji continued to be faithful to his girlfriend, also Seiji did not force his relationship to the next level instead he took his time to realize his partners feelings before attempting anything else. He deserves the role of an honest and kind character in this manga.

Story- The story was very complex and well constructed. Anticipations of the next chapter when you're reading would always be very hard to make. This is because GE has many suddent twist that will make you jump off your seat. There were many turn of events between Seiji's love life, for there were many love triangles in the story, the author also likes to put Seiji in a vulnerable situation where he is forced to make hard decisions which might result in consequences, and for a fellow reader who is reading this manga, it creates a sense of anxiety as we flip through the next page one by one. There were also some fractions in the story which made me flip my table, literally. Because there are just so many suddent twist and turns, just when you think the situation has settled down and take a cooling dip, just ONE speechbubble will cause you to rage, im not going to spoil it you'll just have to read it to experience my rage.

My overall enjoyment for this manga was 9/10, because I stayed up till 5 AM due to my curiosity of the next chapter, then the next, then next and it just goes on and on. I keep thinking that there will always be a cooling point in the story, but unfortunately there wasen't. The story just kept evolving, romance manga hunters who read GE will develop a sense of anxiety because they want to know what's going to happen next, GE's story was very unique and it was different from many other romance manga's. I was just so absorbed into this manga that the next thing I knew, it was already 5 AM in the morning and I've had already read 119 chapters.

This is my second time writing a review, and my first on a manga review. I would appriciate any kind of feedback or critisism regarding this review to imrpove on my revewing skills.

Basically it starts off very good, then it gets a bit bad but then it picks up again and has a very satisfying ending. Some of the characters introduced are unnecessary and annoying, they serve no real purpose to the story and are just there for extra content...
That is seriously all you need to know, it is definitely worth the read if you are into romance manga.

I have a mixed bag of emotions for GE. Just like how there were candies that you liked in that container, there were also a few that you didn't. So in this case, GE comes with a few disappointing aspects, but it is also backed up with plenty of good points.

Story:
The beauty of GE, is that its story is simple and interesting at the same time. To keep you reading, there will always be some kind of elusive secret that you will be brushed against, or some kind of anticipated relationship development or the unfolding of drama, whatever it is, the author does a good ... job to keep you interested. Occasionally, there are a few chapters that act like a filler, and were pretty boring to read. The pacing wasn't too bad, it didn't feel rushed, if anything it was probably a tad slow. GE might not be considered a harem, but it certainly does contain elements that are specific to harems. I don’t usually like harems, mainly due to the retardation that the characters have to go through or the over reliance on Deus ex machina to make the harem possible, but I was pleasantly surprised how well the harem-like setting was executed by the author. Characters weren't overly retarded, and there were no random crap placed here and there to make our hero look good. There are some overly clichéd moments present in the manga, but that can be forgiven since we weren’t given an abusive dose of that. However, I do hold a grudge with the ending, it might not be rushed, but it was disappointing. It ended petty much right after the final drama, so to me, it seems that the built up of the previous 157 chapters were for naught. The author could have at least done a few more chapters to show what happened after.

Characters:
For the most part, the characterisation of our heroine- Yuki is really good, her emotions seems authentic, her actions are realistic, what more could you want? Now we turn to Seiji, the protagonist of the story. He starts off as a wimp, which is fine, because he develops out of that wimpy behaviour as the story progresses. However, there were quite a few unforgivable occasions where his intelligence seemed like it was two standard deviations below the norm. This was pretty much the only major downfall of GE. Though I say this, his characterisation got a lot better for the 2nd half of the story, and the lack of intelligence moments got a lot less so kudos to the author.

Art:
The art was pretty good, it accompanied the story quite well as it maintained a good sense of realism. The character designs noticeably improve as the story progresses, which is also a good thing. So if you were ticked off by the character designs at the start (like how I was), try to keep on reading, and hopefully you will come to accept it.

Enjoyment:
What I enjoyed the most was the relationship development with our hero and heroine, it always left a warm feeling inside, and since it maintained a good sense of realism, you can also relate quite well to the characters.

Overall, the manga is good, there are some frustrating points, but like every manga, you can’t just take the good bits, it comes as a whole.

Summary: Good Ending is an amazing manga for those who love romance, like myself. It is my favorite manga of all time, and I have read it two times in one week.

Story: The story follows the high school years of the main character, Utsumi. I love these types of stories as the reader sees all the character's perspectives and the plot develop's throughout.

Art: The art in Good Ending was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed. The way the conveys emotion through art is outstanding, especially with Shou-senpai. This makes the story very enjoyable to look at and you never get bored of ... the art.

After reading and watching so many animes and manga, i've come to realisethat im in a position to start writing review and this will be the first one im starting with.

Firstly,Good Ending is definitely worth reading if you're a fan of romance manga. The Mangaka (Sasuga Kei) have properly developed the characters, deeper into the characters past and the reason to how they felt and how they react. There was a purpose in each chapter and the story was progressing at a suitable pace (for a romance fanatic like me, it certainly was 'suitable' but might be abit slow for others, though ... not as slow as some others like kimi ni no todoke or daisy).
The art was really good, Sasuga was able to display the emotions fairly well on the faces. But what surprised me most was that he was his use of photos in the manga
(The protagonist, Seiji, took interest and joined a photography club). Through those photos, he really portrayed the feelings and emotions that was going thourgh Seiji.Not to mention that the artwork for the scenery/background is pretty well done.

The story take place in a high school settings that lasted for Seiji's 3 years in the school (not considering the 10 years skip at the back which i will talk about
more later). Sasuga was able to take into account the characters settings and made full use of it to develop the story to show the movment of the plot. Seiji is also not those type of character which u will despise, (not those weak, perverted harem) and this is definitely not typical manga where a troubled man recieve advice from a certain somebody and sees the light and solve the problem miraculously.The duration of the manga is also not too long to make you feel its draggy and not too short to make you feel that characters are underdeveloped.

The humour that Sasuga showed was also really interesting, although not to the extend of rofl, but its certainly enough for u to giggle and make people around you wonder whats going on.

The start was abit different as compared to the rest of the story. The characters was totally potrayed out of his usual self and might be a turn off for alot of readers (probably myself in the previous years but experience have told me that awesome manga might not necessarily have a good start). However story begins picking itself up after the first chapter so i would highly advice readers to not judge the whole manga immediately after reading the first chapter.

Each character has a distinct personality but not all were fully developed. Would have been 9 if Sasuga considered adding side chapters to develop how 'Baldy
and Eri got together. As well as the story behind Onunamu and Izumi as they seem to share some past together which was not developed. But rest assured, the main characters were fully developed and all those burning questions answered as the chapters goes on.

For those that arent reading the paragraph below this, this manga would have been rated 9.5/10 if not for the ending. Seems that mangaka was rushed and summarized too many things into 1 chapter, and feels like a roller coaster ride where the drop was way too fast after something that climatic in the previous chapter. Perhaps more part about them enjoying their hard earned love/relationship could be shown. (Even though the whole damn story revolves around them, i'm pretty sure alot of readers will agree with me on this. They have nvr really been going out properly without someone feeling depress sad or some bad incident happening)

Another downside to this manga would be the predictability straight from the start.The moment i saw how things were going from chapter 2, i knew that Seiji would definitely picked Yuki at the end. And as the story progress, it confirms my suspicion. However there were this little timespan in which when Seiji was dating Shou that made me thought that would it end with them being seperated? Apart from the predictability, the ending was also kinda cliche, like how parents are always the enemy of romance and how the protagonist would make huge sacrifice to travel to the girls house (which is always far away) to save her.
(Maybe its is just me but since i have read Kimi no Iru Machi recently, this part might be abit biased)
Furthermore, Sasuga just breeze past Yuki's fear of intimacy at the end. It seems like the ending is way too rushed and just by going 10 years later he summarised basically what is going on which is all within expectation. I certainly feel that more could be put into how both Seiji and Yuki overcome this fear that was brought forth by Tooru.



All in all i believe that this manga is certainly worth reading. Be prepared to go through the ups and downs of Seiji as Sasuga (Mangaka) brings out the pains and
happiness in this high school romance manga.

This romance manga might seem predictable but is very interesting. I can't help to continue reading, well I ended up staying up all night reading all of it in one day. I really love how the story goes.

The story is about a guy, not brave enough to confess to his crush, and ended up looking stalking her through binoculars everyday (talk about lame). Then he met a girl who's for some reason wants to help him to confess. Well, talking about main chara like that of course he refused at first, but ended up dancing at the girl's hands for some reason.

As the story goes ... the main chara becomes cool-headed and for some reason quite the ladykiller (I would love the manga so much if it does happen though). I love how he becomes brave enough to actually wants to solve his own problems rather than being helped (A man). More and more the mystery unsolved and unexpected moment. But somehow I feel like the characters live with never-ending conflicts, as one conflict ended means that one conflict is starting, it goes on a cycle. That what makes it interesting though, especially when the characters and conflicts feel realistic. Talk about broken hearts everywhere.

The ending is satisfying enough but I think they can make it better, like prolonging the chapter, show us more happy moments won't you (quite stressful). And in overall I think this manga is really interesting. I ended up giving 10 because I really enjoyed this manga, and now it won't get out of my mind #I want more yuuuukiiiiiiii!!??

Good ending doesn't deserve the name un my opinion. Like the pther project of Susuga Kei, I've realized her stories are amazing and entertaing until an specific point where the upside downs start. And finally, the ending is average, a lot of no sense situations which make everything easy to get together the main couple, not like a real cliche, but all the fantastic story falls down.

Although, as I was saying, you can enjoy all the manga, actually it's more mature than another romantic dramas. You can find people taking seriously the love.

The characters well developed nearly each one, nothing out of this world but ... the personalities and their side stories are there and are interesting.

The art is terrific, the level of the graphics and draws incresing in every chapter. In the last ones, you can really feel the emotions of the protagonists and the scenes are very exciting.

If you love the romantic dramas, definetly this manga is for you. But, being honest, Susuga Kei isn't the best finishing mangas jaja.

Good Ending is a nice manga, it's like a romance story with a shonen final. If you already read Domestic na Kanojo, it's easy to see Sasuga's development, so the art is (obviously) not as good as Dome na Kano.

Although this does not make this manga bad or anything like that, the first half of the story is not so engaging as the last half, but the fact that the mains characters are antagonists at the beggining is very interisting. The character developmente is well done, excluding some secondary, it's a very good feature of the manga.

The final is a little ... fast, but not enough to call it "rushed" as Dome na Kano (that final was a crime). It's definetely a final that will make you smile.

I will not extend so much here, if you like a good romance with a famous Sasuga Kei drama, you should really read it.

Good Ending is a manga that sometimes i can describe like a good work with some flaws. First of all i can say it has a story with a linear narrative moved fundamentally by romance, drama and comedy which give it a tone sometimes light sometimes a little bit heavy.

In some points the story can become really unpredictable although it follows an scheme usually used in another mangas taking place in schools. The pacing is okey and not particulary fast or slow, maybe some parts of the story could have been compressed and are not really necessary, and the ecchi can be become annoying ... on ocassion.

The comedy usually works but in some points ruins the drama (this doesn't happen often) becoming in an anticlimatic scene, the drama when is good made is actually very effective and it can become a good incentive to view this manga, although some reactions and some events can become a little bit unrealistic, the romance is actually the most fundamental aspect of this manga and is well done and is understandable on the most importante of the cases so this is one the strong points of this story, it feels natural and give it the sensation of love that everyone expects to watch in a romance story.

Ironically the ending isn't good at all, this must be the most weak aspect of the manga because it doesn't feel natural, it feels forced and unnecessary and the epilogue...well it can't be called conclusion at all.

The art is good, isn't generic and is easily recognized.

Usually the main cast have both virtues and flaws (except one whice is actually a Gary Stu) their reactions usually are adequate to situation and feels really realistic in the best. By the character side everyone has some kind of development, while the main trio has a good development very consistent with the circumstances, even the supporting characters have.

The characterization is good enough to able to distinguish every character and everyone have certain complexity, even they have an adequate backstory wich is consistent with their actions.

In conclusion i really liked this manga and i think it's really good, you should watch it if you like drama or romance.

This was an addicting series. I binge read the entire thing in about 5 hours. All 158 chapters.

Just let me start off and say that I don't read many romances, if not any. This one was particularly heart warming to me since it is one of the first romances where romance is the main genre.

If you're not experiences with Romance manga and decide to read this, please do. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Also, I would like to add that I'm rating this according to my experience with Romance manga, which is none (practically none), and my experience with other romance manga with ... romance as a "sub" genre (ex: Nisekoi).

Story: 10

It's a little slow in the beginning, but it eventually picks up pace really nicely. I did like how the story turned out. If you tank through the first 10-20 chapters, you'll end up enjoying it a lot.

Art: 10

The art is beautiful here. It's very constant, the characters look amazing though some of the men do suffer from the "same face" syndrome we find in manga styles. You won't notice it until you have a side-by-side comparison though.

If I did have a complaint, it was during this one front page scene where the main character (girl) was drawn smiling, but her mouth was unnaturally big (about half her face). Besides that surreal moment, which wasn't even in the main story (it's just a front cover), the art is pretty darn realistic.

Characters: 10

They're very realistic and they deal with realistic themes. The main character, when he actually grows a spine, is quite relatable to people who have no idea how to interact with women (e.g: me).

Enjoyment: 10

I binge read this in the middle of the night. It's 2:10AM right now. Tell me, what does that tell you?

It was very enjoyable but a little tedious in the beginning. I really like it but, as I will guess from other romances, it's going to be hard on my heart.

I would recommend this to everyone, even those who don't frequently read romances. As long as they're willing to try out something new, I'd recommend this to anyone and everyone who is looking for a good romance manga to start off with.
