Manga that have shaped and influenced my becoming the person I am. Some I no longer agree with in their philosophy or ideas, but listing them here helps me to see where my head space was in my past and who I am now.

These are all Joesei manga that I’ve found interesting! It’s all manga, there aren’t any manhua or manhwa in here at all. Remember, Josei is a demographic so while there are a lot of heterosexual romance manga in here there’s also Boy’s Love, mystery, action, thriller, isekai, and etc. I hope you find a new manga to enjoy!

Historical romances with an intense and heavy atmosphere

I created this interest stack mostly based on art style. I couldn't figure out which genre to label them as. Maybe 'emo art style'? Not sure, but for me, gothic fantasy better suits them. The list can be updated later when finding new mangas similar to them.
