We are presented with a psychotic male lead who has no fear of losing their life however, when they get entangled with a strong badass female lead their lives start to change. They fall head-on in love with the female lead and start to understand the fear of having a lovely one. 

- Similarly, both plot are set during the Meiji era. - Both female protagonists are neglected by their family, due to a different reason (except in Firefly Wedding, wherein the father didn't neglect her). - Both male protagonists has bad reputation in their community, FOR A REASON. - Both male protagonists possess overpowered combat skills, and the brutality of their murdering is nearly comparable. - Both male protagonists acts as a knight and shining armour typa character, in a way that they save the female protagonist from a dangerous situation. Eventually, they gradually develops romantic feelings for the female protagonist. Both feature young women being sent to a new place against their will and becoming prostitutes in the hopes of finding a better life for themselves. 

The era is set at historical settings. Both male protagonists shows similarities, both of them are assassins that possess great skills and their level of savageness in killing are almost equal to one another. 

Male Leads are very similar. Both are absolutely impulsive, unpredictable, walking red flags but also… adorable? Like in an innocent and childish way. And both are absolutely smitten and crazy over their respective Female Leads.
