8th Circle Mage Reborn has an intriguing revenge premise bogged down by weak execution.
Story: 5/10
The reincarnation set up of a powerful mage executed and reborn into a talentless noble's body has potential. However, the narrative fails to capitalize on this. The protagonist's quest for revenge is not well developed. Supporting characters and worldbuilding lack depth. The story becomes repetitive.
Art: 4/10
The art is very rough, with minimal background details and simple character designs. Action sequences are not well conveyed. Panels feel static rather than dynamic.
Characters: 4/10
The protagonist is not given much personality beyond wanting revenge. Antagonists like the corrupt king are one-note evil. Side characters are

bland. Character motivations in general need more nuance.
Enjoyment: 3/10
I found myself losing interest as the manhwa progressed due to the barebones story and art. The revenge premise hinted at something more gripping.
In summary, 8th Circle Mage Reborn has an interesting concept but does little with it so far. Better development of the narrative, characters and art would help elevate this into an engaging revenge fantasy.
