If you're here, I'm assuming you want to know if its a worthwhile sequel to the original work that came out over 20 years ago and was one of the best manga to come out of that period.
It is. and its great. It was supposed be a sorta middling rehash by an out of practice author but 9 chapters in and it's better than like 95% of the shonen out there. It feels just like the original but with increased stakes that feels natural. all the characters are back (or are in the process of coming back) setting up some really hype return moments. Yea,

I just finished the original Konjiki no gash and loved it. It was a great story with a lot more depth then I thought it would have. Right after that I read through all 18 available chapters of Konjiki no gash 2 and was surprised at how much it reflected the original story, even though it ended 13 years before the second began to publish.

For those who have read Zatch Bell and thorough enjoyed it, the sequel still has its nostalgic flavor but with a modern touch to it. I think what this author has improved on is the suspense of every chapter with so many mysteries and questions for the audience. The characters have grown and the villains seem a little less cliche with more brains this time around. Obviously there is the usual cast and same personalities. The author has done a great job balancing the Zatch Bell we all know and love while trying to provide a new twist every step of the way.

As a whole, the series is very much akin to Naruto Shippuden than a full-on sequel, feeling very much like it's just the same thing, but fifteen years later and with new foes. Most of the presently-available 26 chapters are about seeing prominent characters from the original series again, with it only starting to change to more than just a game of
