It's just... so peak. And I don't say that lightly.
First of all, let me be clear. The start (~20 chaps) is slow. Not bad, but it takes it's time introducing the cast and the world for it to develop later. Other than that, this is, without a doubt or competition in my mind, the best battle shounen I've ever read, with the only competition being maybe Jujutsu Kaisen.
The art? Oh it's amazing. Almost reminds me of Zyugoya, but with a more obvious focus on the action. The smear frames on this go crazy, and it's consistently gorgeous even during the SoL fragments.

Imagine if you took a good manhwa like Tower of God and made it Solo Leveling, ORV, or whatever, this is basically Player.
Everything is extremely fast paced, only one thing is allowed to happen per chapter, everybody is extremely fickle and over the top. I guess it isn't the worst, it's better than a lot of throw away Isekais, but you shouldn't torture yourself with it, even if you are that bored. The art reminded me a bit of Ember Knight which is a few leagues above this but it really doesn't make up for the story. Also the clear KonoSuba reference in the Isekai was ...

This is my first time writing a review and I'm only doing it to tell yall to ignore the mal rating here, just trust me and go read this manwha
The mc is pretty good, the main side cast is goated, the secondary characters and the antagonists are really interesting, the power system is very well written, the artstyle is probably my favorite in animanga, the character designs are peak... The only 2 things I kinda dislike is how random the powerups are sometimes and the amount of fanservice there is, other than that this is easily a 10/10. Just make sure you read it while listening ...

Oh. My. God. WHY does NOBODY know about this??? This is one of the best manhwa I've ever read, beating out most manga I've read, top 10 at the very least.
Characters/Character Development: 9/10 the beginning is cliche and Heo Seol-Jin is relatively unlikable, but later on, he becomes one of my favorite characters, he becomes strong but not strong enough to not get his ass kicked, but he isn't a complete pushover and isnt *too* scared of women like oh so many other protagonists, the development for both him, as well as others in the god tier story is phenomenal, and the side characters get ... |
