Minor plot spoilers
Every Mangaka can write a good premise if they think hard enough, however, it is seems that it is nearly impossible for them to expand on their premise, making a unique storyline and characters. Against my expectations, this manga is so much more than your usual tropey, cliche premise that is stagnant in development, unlike nearly every webcomic to exist.
Obviously, the story revolves around the mc with its premise, however, the story isn’t heliocentric and dependent on him. In other words, the side characters all have a sense of reason and meaning of existence outside of the main character, making the story
...
rather unique and interesting.
There have been many, many times where the whole cliche narrative of “the demons are actually the good guys, and the humans suck” arises, but this manga acknowledges how idiotic that plot development, so it does the opposite or the “usual setting.” With this nice change of pace, all of the characters get a further sense of depth and plenty room for development; the plot is also set in stone, as the mc will actually have a purpose of being in the world besides for unknowingly getting a harem like a certain similar harem manga called “Yuusha Shoukan ni Makikomareta kedo, Isekai wa Heiwa deshita.”
Every fiber in my body wishes this manga wasn’t a light novel promotional, since it could’ve easily been the best isekai, harem manga of all time due to its characters, comedy, and somewhat unique plot line; this is also coming from me, a certified shota, weak-looking mc hater.
