I have to admit the story itself is a little slow in the beginning but if you stick it out its hard to put down.
Kim Hajin is the author of the Novel instead of just a reader unlike how most Isieki are. It really shows the difference because we see how much he cares for his characters. Not to mention he's a Badass. He might be weak physically but he definitely is overpowered with his weapons. I also personally like that he never gives up on going home but when it does happen I know i'll be in tears.

I really enjoyed the art style ... and the story itself never disappointed. I especially liked with the characters where acting silly in chibi form and when the characters were fighting. it was so cool to see the characters switch from serious to silly and sometimes even both (the captain Lol)

Right now i'm currently on chapter 99 the end of season 2 I originally heard about it on Tik Tok when I was looking for something similar to 'omicent reader' though I should say they are similar but only for the fact the mc knows the future and instead of the main characters dealing with it the mc does it himself

"The Novel's Extra" is a well-executed but generic magic school manhwa.

First of all, the story's premise is incredibly basic. The mc wrote a book, he was isekaid into his book, but oooohhh, things are slightly different! There are teens, there's potential romances, a magic school, and the protagonist showing off. Everyone fawns over him, of course.

Secondly, I haven't read the source material that everyone seems to love, but the manhwa falls into the same trap Second Coming of Gluttony did: it seems to believe that all its readers have read the webnovel. The plot seems nonsensical, and time skips all over the place, as if hastily trying to include only the most plot driven moments from the source material. Some may like this, but to me, the pacing doesn't give any time to breathe.

I read the original manhwa adaptation when it came out. It was definitely a lot lower in quality of art, but I preferred it much more due to the pacing and unique characterization of the mc. This new adaptation mc feels like the most bland piece of paper.

Lastly, don't get me wrong, this manhwa is a lot of fun. If you like more of a slice of life/comedy vibe manhwa, this will hit the spot. The art is great at times, as well, and the mc using a gun is more unique, I suppose.

Overall, this is an adaptation that requires some prior reading to appreciate fully. It's great in small doses, but really feels like missing the mark in large doses. I recommend 1 chapter a day rather than binging.

Made it around 20 chapters before calling it quits. The story is just directionless. It's another boring school drama/returner/cheat story. MC literally explains the next scene before the scene happens which makes the whole thing repetitive and boring. MC can make any skill he wants with some convoluted point system that no one cares about. It's established in the first chapter that everyone in this story is an NPC so why should we care if any of these people die or get angry? Even though this is a very self aware manhwa, it still suffers from all the problems people complain about in this genre.
