Both are stories of modern doctors being reincarnated into an ancient setting, one set in Ancient china while the other is set in Ancient Korea. They both have martial arts included in the story which includes the usage of qi, so there are a bit unscientific parts to the stories, but they just add to the depth of the story given the setting.  

Time travel back to 500 or 1000 (or even 1500) years in the past, where life was rough to say the least, science totally inefficient compared to now, with people dying left and right to diseases or wounds that can be cured with current medicine, therapy and/or surgery. The MC introduces this modern science and techniques to these people and is seen as an extremely young master of knowledge. <> SKK:NG: Focus on agriculture; The Divine Surgeon: Focus on surgery 

A doctor/surgeon relives life with his past experiences and intel still fresh in his mind. Being young means being frowned upon or even openly brought in disgrace by other doctors, especially when it's about a difficult surgical operation. *The main characters are very sturdy about the fact that they want to save as many patients as they possibly can, and that every patient is equal in their eyes, monetary status has no influence on who to be treated first. *They also are humble in nature. <> Medical Return: present day, with modern equipment available; Divine Surgeon: >1000y in the past so crafted imitations of modern equipment. 

Sent back to the ages where modern science didn't exist, the main characters are able to implement these tools and equipment to make life expectancy and quality better. *Native characters of that period obviously want to share in his knowledge. 

Modern surgeons returning to a past wherein medicine and surgery were not efficient at all compared to today's procedures. As a source of important knowledge the main character is able to ameliorate the lives of many inhabitants in the time they spawned in, making them famous and revered. They proudly hold their creed of saving any patient they can, even with the lacking materials and shortage of doctors with sufficient knowledge. 

The stories are both about doctors who find themselves in an alternate world without medical knowledge and change the world through introducing surgery and other medical procedures.  

it's medical manga! setting is completely different, characters are completely different, but i, a critic, am enjoying reading both. the reason for that is that the medicine is good! (or at least interesting.) if you're a cynic, you should try reading. :)
