Even though ANH has got some fantasy elements to it (boys turning into girls when it rains), these both manga really have a similar feel to them. In both there's a group of teenagers who learn some important things regarding social issues (like lgbt or issues women have in their daily lives), falling in love and facing the consequences it comes with. I strongly recommend one if you liked the other. Personally I like Ao no Flag more, but Ame Nochi Hare is really good too. In both the characters are very likeable and you can relate to them as well, whether you are a teenager  read more

Both stories are similar in the sense that they revolve around boys who turn into girls due to a natural occurrence being either rain (Ame nochi..) or sunset (kare wa..) and they take place in school. With a touch of romance and drama.

Both manga spring several couples in front of its readers, with the readers forming their own ships. What's most interesting about both, tho, is which couples the mangaka makes canon, and which ones she doesn't. You'll keep guessing till the end!

Don't let the MAL tags confuse you - these two manga have more similarities than dissimilarities. While on the surface, both might seem lighthearted takes on boys cross dressing as girls, you slowly realize there's so much more than that. The lighter chapters give way to more serious discussions on topics like gender dynamics, how difficult it is to for guys to adjust living as girls, budding friendships, tragic pasts and impossible romances.

While the underlying theme of gender bender is what would draw people to both these manga, what truly is similar in both is how the issue of boys becoming girls is dealt (more seriously in Ame), alongside the emotional issues that they all face, which helps us understand these characters better. And for a change, girls aren't treated as side characters, but are given decent developments of their own. All characters are realistic, believable and act exactly like teens their ages would. Both manga also feature love quadrangles, so there's also that. And ofc, you just feel so, so, SO sorry for Takuma Hojuou and  read more

While both these manga belong to vastly different genres (shoujo v/s sci fi), it's remarkable how very similar they are to each other. Both manga have boys that turn into girls, their struggles with their physical changes and needs, their emotional struggles towards members of the same (and opposite sex), love pentagons, gays, lesbians - the works.

In general terms, both are very similar in that they are gender bender, supernatural mysteries with bits of romance and comedy on the sides about a group of five normal high school students who without explanation experience supernatural phenomena causes some of them to find themselves in girls' bodies. All five are main characters but it seems to focus on one more than others, who happens to be the most generic of the lot. As the phenomenon continues, each character reveals things about their family or past Speaking more specifically, Maki and Inaba are very similar. They are isolated at first and deal with their  read more

Both feature supernatural gender bending and friends who grow and learn to love, however Kanojo ni Haru Hi has much more mature themes and takes place over the course of years.

Peaceful school-life stories drawn by Bikke with a small fantasy/supernatural element. They have a similar innocent feel to them, despite one being (sorta) BL and the other being a gender bender.

These works feature 5 bishonen boys which are friends and go through hardships while attending school. Very good reads with interesting and similar characters (even though the story/plot is nothing alike). Similarities include: - Five boys in a special relationship with water: for them it’s basically life changing! - Main blue haired boy which names start by "Ha" (Hazuki/Haruka) and guess what, they share an identical hairstyle; Serious Megane blue haired boy; A happy go-lucky little blonde boy who is always cheering everyone; A green haired boy which is like everyone’s big bro. (and their names start by “Ma”). And the “rebel” one which is connected  read more

Teenagers must adjust to their gender changing at times. They are surprisingly good at showing cute, innocent, and slightly awkward behavior. While Ame Nochi Hare keeps a peaceful tone, Oyajina takes it to the extreme, with the teenage girls acting exactly like teenage girls, such as their speech, mannerisms, and even personal preferences for older men...except they all look like mustached middle-aged men.

gender blender Mian difference one MC changes clothes whilst in the other one their are multiple MC who actually change their gender it self

A group of guy friends, the exploration of a new friendship, their experience with love, from multiple perspectives. Some of the characters and their relationships are quite similar, however Ame Nochi Hare involves the supernatural and Nijiro Days does not.

The plot is a bit different and the characters are too, but when Ranma (Ranma 1/2) comes in contact with water he becomes a girl, and when it is raining, the five main male characters (Ame Nochi Hare) also become female.

Ame Nochi Hare is the gender bender/fantasy version of KtB: - Both feature a group of boys hanging out and their daily lives with a touch of romance. - Both have a serious dark haired megane, a cheerful blonde, twins. - Both have an older guy/teacher helping them. - Both have unrequited love and a love triangle.
