This webtoon is one of the most recommended around the internet so I was quite surprised to see that there are no reviews yet! This review will be spoiler-free 💫
Story 6/10: The storyline is not the most creative, I started reading expecting some crazy plot twists but at the end it’s all very predictable. Since the ML is an idol and doesn’t live a normal life, it’s interesting to see how his fame affects the plot. Unfortunately most plot points are solved without going in depth. more backstory and for the plot to develop at a more believable pace.
Art 10/10: Absolutely gorgeous art, and it keeps improving through the chapters! There’s a lot of attention to detail and there are whole panels that look truly stunning! There was clearly a lot of thought behind the outfits as well!
Characters 7/10: The characters aren’t very well built! There’s a lot of backstory, but it doesn’t get built gradually, it’s more like it’s repeated over and over. The MC clearly has some backstory about her family but it never gets explored deeply, same for the ML. The end result is flat protagonists. Everyone is also super immature, the author tries to give them some growth but doesn’t really succeed IMO.
Enjoyment 10/10: Even though this webtoon might be a bit trite, it kept me hooked and I’m not ashamed to admit that I spent some money on it in order to binge it!
Overall 6/10: An ok manhwa with great art! 💕
