This story can be summed up in one word: frustrating. Are we supposed to be shipping the main two characters? It feels like we're supposed to, but I don't think anyone with a brain really can. You'll only feel bad for the female lead because of how she's suffering, and yeah there's this spell about how she can't tell anyone but my god is the male lead so dumb that he can't take any hints she's trying to give. I see that this story is quite controversial. Here’s my take: if you happen to be one of those people who loves a drama romance with an imperfect and sometimes toxic couple, you will love this story. I typically don’t mind if there is some toxicity, because I think it makes character development from a romance standpoint more profound. I actually love this series. It’s probably my favorite Webtoon I’m reading right now. My only complaint is that the story is a little stagnant right now, but I have a feeling the plot is about to pick up a bit. I think this one is for more mature audiences, it is an interesting prespective and makes one reconsider life. It isn't a frustrating story if it is binge read. It is a rollercoaster and even though I'm great at guessing the plot, I couldn't
I think it is interesting the fact how they so desperatly need each other, even if it's toxic (everything in their life is) so we can't just look at it with "normal coloured glasses", I think they're eachothers path to peace. If the reader is able to go through (and see through) the violence, it is a beautifully constructed story where everyone ...

I wanted so badly for this story to get better! I stuck it out week to week but I think I'm going to drop it entirely :( At the start, it seemed like a good premise. Not super unique but I was interested due to the pretty art style and likeable FL. But it quickly became a story of abuse & misunderstandings between the main leads. I don't want our girl to even be with the ML which rarely happens...that's how horrible of a person he is...and this has not improved 60+ chapters in.
