The art is nice, really nice at times and at others just nice.
It is about hate/anger, regret, sadness & death. Learning to forgive and realizing the one at fault isn't the one actually at fault.
In the earlier chapters there is a little bit of a dub con scene but later on when they finally do it for the first time it has actual consent.
The reason why I can't recommend it or want to read it again is because of the ending. I hated how the ML had to push the MC away and tell him to wait for him while he spends his last
...
days with his dying best friend. He was supposed to die within 6 months but instead ended up living up to 3 years. It just made no sense that after the MC's name got cleared he didn't get to go spend time with the ML in the city. Like yeah I get it your best friend is going to die in 3 years but at least he isn't bed ridden yet and the you don't have to push the MC away until he dies. It just made no sense to me. He could have easily moved in with him into the castle or a house in the city and the ML could easily go home to the MC during the day or night but instead the MC had to wait for him for 3 years.
It makes you feel like why, does the ML actually love the MC or it it just some dumb obsession after all he didn't even recognize the MC for the childhood friend he had (the only one since he met the dying best friend who was a adult at the time of meeting)
He straight up just forgot the MC and even when the MC kept saying things that reminded him of that "friend" he didn't put 2 and 2 together? He didn't even care enough to go and search for him and not to mention the ML falling for the MC came out of no where, especially when the MC was not being nice or caring because he was still blaming the ML for his parents death.
The romance felt forced for the ML, he just fell out of no where with out really knowing the MC.
