Classic murim manhwa, its good manhwa with abundant chapter and official translate almost catch up the raw. Okay same as before, i talk about good thing first and bad thing then i conclude the whole review in 1 sentence. Lets begin
Lets talk about good things first, First, the story begin with lazy and carefree main character that lost everything in single night because of plague and suddenly some random old man adopt him as one of disciple or his grandson, Mc development from carefree and lazy to hardworking and cunning character which incredible especially this one take around 1 or 2 season which for me,
...
kinda long but acceptable in context of char development. Second, despite this manhwa focus on action and martial art, the character have solid goal about what he going to do next, also this manhwa doesnt tag romance but the whole plot running around romance tag to find his childhood friend which basically you know, literally around him but he still didnt notice it easily. Third one, Char development both mc and female lead is top notch despite having tragedy upon tragedy, they decide to ditch the old goal to find better goal, like finding her/his childhood friend. There is also comedy tag should be, because i found some moment funny and hillarious.
Lets talk about bad things, First, Villain, there is no villain so far, we get introduce first villain in s1 but until chapter 164, i didnt see him move or anything, remember villain wont just silence for whole 10 years waiting to make a move. If u guys say there is villain, ok i revise the villain to main villain, which the most evil enemy for both mc and fl. Second, the plot get dragged on long and very long, you could say there is tournament, they explain every details even enemy details also which i feel like exeggerated current conflict, also some of them, i could say kinda cruel and inhumane, i mean this is murim era, noone humane. Third and final one, the art and the face, most of them have same faces, you cant tell who he is who she is who are they, they have all same face and same hair style example, 1 of saint martial art, the big beard like lion, somehow looks like FL father, at first glance, thanks to color, i can tell the difference but again her father also get old, which there is chance, he has white hair also.
Conclusion, Its fun to read but i recommended just speedrun read especially in part where they explain about technique or the thing unless you are martial art enthusiast. This part get bored really quick. Final 8/10, remember this review is completely my opinion about the manhwa. So give a read!
