The Story is basically:

"One day, Jolyne Cujoh witnesses a **bizarre** scene: a female prisoner (a former FUJOSHI mangaka) tearfully begging another to draw her a religious doujin. What could the woman taking art requests from degenerates be plotting?!"

AND is very funny :D

Utterly pointless. The only moment of worth in the manga is a few pages where Jolyne, Ermes and Foo interact with one another.

What little plot there is serves no purpose. The new character created specifically for the spin-off (or perhaps borrowed from another property?) amounts to a joke(?) about the online art scene and that's about it.

Bringing Jolyne back for the purpose of sex appeal is probably unavoidable given that the Part 6 anime is currently airing and waifu culture is at an all time high in the west and in Japan, but they could have at least tried to do something interesting with it.

Thanks to this author for ruining one of the best protagonists of JoJo's and one of the best female characters of any manga.
This thing is ecchi/soft porn and it totally degrades what it is related to, that is to say the original work.
Even if it's not canon, the problem is that it gives a bad image outside the original manga, and that's the problem with this thing.
This spin-off is just a kind of filler/slice of life, nothing against this idea, the problem is that it's too much turned to sexualized situations for many scenes, as well as facial expressions out of ecchi, and it's disturbing.

Story ... 1/10 : The plot nothing to say about it, it would be spoilers and it's just one chapter, I can't expand on it, just to say that it puts Jolyne in an improbable situation, like many scenes of JoJo's, except that it pushes the limits and goes against what the original work does, that is to say that we find ourselves in cliché situations of perverse ecchi scenes.
It's not funny, what's the use of this thing? concretely it brings nothing to the characters/lore.
It's soft porn/ecchi, it's out of Jolyne character and makes her look ridiculous when she not a soft porn ecchi character, or a cliché female character.
This spin-off makes all the erotic scenes "funny" I feel like I'm reading a doujin fan fiction made by an amateur in one day so bad.
If you like ecchi, and it doesn't bother you to imagine a JoJo's ecchi spin-off it will suit you, personally it is not my case, I hate ecchi.

Art 3/10 : it's bad and once again classic and banal, you can find this kind of drawings anywhere, it's really amateurish and it's not transcendent at all.
And this kind of "kawaii - innocent" style straight from an amateur doujin doesn't fit with JoJo's universe, it's the kind of drawings that would go well with an ordinary ecchi manga or an old manga with shounen demorgraphy that dates from 80-90's.

Characters 1/10 : Completely ridiculous, it destroys the character of Jolyne, and all the work of Araki who loves his work, and who is part of his life, he himself must be biting his fingers by reading this shit.

Enjoyment 1/10 : sorry I'm not a consumer of ecchi and other crap intended for weebs, and that's all this spin off is, apart from damaging the reputation of a great work, this spin-off brings nothing but a waste of time.

Overall 1/10 : If you are a fan of JoJo's you can read it, to laugh or cry I guess, it's a very fast read, and it doesn't really bring anything except sexualizing a character, and turned her into a kind of ordinary ecchi girl.
If you like ecchi, and you think it's funny to see a spin-off of that on JoJo's and you consider it as a not serious reading (because it's not) you'll manage to like it I think.

I don't know how Hirohiko Araki could have given his authorization for this abomination, just by the unveiling of the cover I knew it was going to be bad with classic " chibi - cute " and cliché drawings.
At the same time Aimoto Shou, as was an assistant for Bleach, it doesn't even surprise me that it's so bad.
Personally I would have preferred that the authorization to write a spin-off be given to Sako, Toshio (author of Usogui) a fan of Araki, Araki even praised him.

This kind of sexualized scenes would never happen in JoJo's, there are some scenes that are quite perverse but it's not executed in a way that it's a kind of doujin/ecchi, soft porn just because it's "funny" to see a character in this kind of situation.
I swear it's the kind of people who thought that the masturbation scene was going to be animated in the anime, when it doesn't even exist in the first place, since there are no illustrations about it, just a conversation.

And yes it sexualizes Jolyne, we all know what happens in the first chapter of the original manga, but is it all illustrated in an ecchi way with aheagao expressions and sexual poses?
Well no, because this kind of thing is well executed and are minimal for the work, and above all it's a serious work, with a quite particular humor, and not cliché humor like "oh no senpai, I'm all wet I have to undress" - "oh this food is so delicious, insert a perverted facial expression of ahegao type".
In the original manga, there are dialogues/conversations, about perverse things, but they don't last 1 chapter, and they are not illustrated in explicit and disturbing ways as here.
And that's what's disturbing, the author is not even able to write a captivating story, he has to rely on the perverse scenes, for shock value.

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Crazy Diamond no Akuryou-teki Shitsuren is a pretty good spin-off, a little bit fan service but it works well, this is the kind of spin-off we are waiting for not this crap.

Atrocious spin-off, that's just ruining one of the most interesting JoJo characters of all time and one of the best female characters in shonen manga. Brainless doujin that brings the reader absolutely nothing, but softcore lewd scenes that doesn't even make any sense.

The art by the author of Kemono Jihen is cliché and doesn't even look like a JoJo story at all. It's more like an amateurish doujin made by some hentai artist, not a professional who is the author behind a decently famous manga. Moreover, the author is doing two things I consider a "sin" - the story is shocking just for the ... sake of shocking and it's using more famous characters and more famous works to even be considered relevant. This is not an official spin-off, this is just a bad ecchi fanfiction.

Basically if you like JoJo and if you loved Stone Ocean, avoid this crap.

I couldn't overanalyze this if I wanted. I enjoyed seeing Jolyne again; the art style is very cute, and both the original character and stand are well-designed. There are also a few enjoyable interactions.

The first thing the story conveys is that this battle wasn’t interesting enough to make it into the original run, so don’t expect an epic showdown. This is a one-shot for those scraping for anything JoJo-related and who also happen to be very horned up.

I didn’t find it particularly funny, mostly just horny. If you’re okay with or even enjoy that kind of content, you’ll likely appreciate it more than I did, ... and it could be a fun time.

It's just bad. I'll say it. It's weird fujoshi sexual shit. Not worth your time unless you want Jolyne's character ruined for you, with shit-tier writing that maybe would have passed in early part 5. Fujiko seems like a weird self-insert of the Author. Everyone feels out of character as well. This whole thing just felt like an excuse to put Jolyne in weird sexual positions as poorly-done fanservice. Just thank god it isn't canon. I wouldn't even recommend it to a JoJo super fan. Hopefully, you are better off reading the Hol Horse and Josuke Spin-off when that gets published.

Why did it take so long for me to find out we had new Jojo manga?!

So I heard talk about the Jolyne one the most, mostly for all the memes about how horny this whole chapter is. And yeah... it's horny. :) Personally, I don't really care that it's ecchi. While ecchi really didn't float my boat in my earlier years of anime fandom, finding ecchi jewels like Shimoneta and Interspecies Reviewers really opened my eyes to the potential of the genre. As such, I'm reviewing this from the standpoint of an adult that can very much enjoy lighthearted sexual content like this, even as ... a Jojo fan that likes Jolyne's character quite a bit. Though I'm also bi and a Jolyne simp, so you could say I'd get as much gratification out of this as anybody.

Bad Romance is a fun Stand. Just getting everyone addicted to hentai. And Jolyne seems to suffer some effects when the Stand User lady really starts liking her. Story isn't much, but it's cute, fun, and ties up neatly.

I'd say the main thing I didn't care for was the art style which was a little too cutesy for my liking, especially something about Jolyne's face in this chapter.

I jumped into reading this having no idea what it was going to be like. I just knew it was a Stone Ocean spin-off, and that I really liked Stone Ocean. Reading this was not a very fun experience. Which is disappointing, because it definitely had the potential to be something enjoyable. The art style looks nice and the new character was pretty interesting. It felt like she could have been a part of the original story. Up until the story became oc x canon erotic fanfiction, at least. Like, you had permission to use all these great characters! What happened?

A silly, whacky short story, a different take on the bizarre franchise.

There is no need to take this seriously and it was obviously never intended to be taken as such. It’s non-canon, so it doesn’t ruin everything. If you think it oversexualizes Jolyne’s character I have to remind you what were among the first acts she did at the start of the main manga. This is not that much of a stretch from the original.

The basic of the plot is a BL artist using her stand to draw commissions in prison, and I think that’s a nice contemporary take on the bizarrdnesness and passes ... the creative check. The one-shot also features some extra interraction between the cast that's fun to read.

To address the elephant in the room, yes, there is fanservise. So if you happen to find that distasteful, you probably won’t enjoy this. That said, there is no nudity, ironically making the actual Stone Ocean manga have more hardcore fanservice than this one-shot.

The art certainly isn’t bad, but it is widely different from the arstyle of both early and later JoJo. Therefore, if you’re the type of fan that thinks the original work is untouchable and any derivate that differs from it is heresy, you too won’t enjoy this. If you absolutely hate moe you also won't get a kick out of it.

Overall it was an enjoyable quick read, though enjoyable only to those able to accept its silliness.

This is basically a dojinshi that got published.
Stand that makes Jolyne horny. That's all there is to it.
It belongs on a hentai site, dunno why anyone approved it. Is it supposed to be an ad for part 6 anime?
But hey, at least it goes into unnecessary explanation of.... japanese porn art. There's also virgin Mary. Something Araki would definitely do.

This is the worst possible one-shot chapter that Stone Ocean could've gotten.

A story that is more akin to a character assassination than it is a good reading experience.

But that is why, I, would like to recommend this oneshot to everyone, it is a must-read and not to be missed.

The panels will enter your brain through your eyesocket and clamp on hardly, they will never let go. No matter how painful it may be, no matter how many nights of your sleep are robbed, these panels will never let you go. They will remain dormant, in the back of your head, and you will feel ... naught but dread for as long as you live.

You'll fear, you'll fear when those panels will make it back to the front of your head.
And it'll be the moment you're the happiest in your life, the very moment you think *"this is the peak of my life, nothing could ruin it for me right now"*, that's when it'll strike you, and you won't be able to do anything about it... Besides wailing in agony, if you're even capable of doing that by this point.


This has been the pain I have been experiencing ever since this anomaly was released, and I wish to spread it further only.
