Cool Shock Old B.T. is the sequel to Hirohiko Araki's (creator of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) first serialized series, Cool Shock B.T. This story is also a fantastic love letter to JoJo filled with countless refences to the popular series. The story starts 60 years after the original series with B.T.'s life long friend, Koichi Mugikari who has just fallen for a "too good to be true" scam. Maroushinshi B.T. is an excellent one-shot (or perhaps a two-shot?). It stands strong on its own and is filled with homages to Araki's body of work.

This piece serves as a love letter to Araki and his creations, with much of its charm residing in the references and callbacks. Consequently, the art is detailed and impressive, befitting the project's nature. Numerous background elements include nods to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, which may seem nonsensical to a non-Jojo fan. However, it aligns well with BT, as he is portrayed as somewhat of a hoarder. This homage enhances the overall appeal of the story.
