Same artist with a love for fraught, unusual and sometimes twisted obsessive relationships. Both have the starting premises of protagonist being 'abducted' whist being 'rescued' by the love interest, Seimaden more literally while GC more technically. There's a similarity in the main pairing set up too - the protagonist is a naive character that the somewhat villainous love interest is trying to seduce.
