Synopsis

Tsuyoshi Kawabata is just a regular convenience store employee in a mid-sized city west of Tokyo. Except... he also happens to be the most powerful fighter in the world. Although he doesn't particularly want to fight, his reputation precedes him, and challengers come from all over the world to test their might against the mythical Tsuyoshi—and invariably end up handily beaten, clutching their battered family jewels in a convenience store parking lot. Should you wish to fight him, he has three rules to minimize inconvenience: 1) You only get one fight. There will be no rematch. 2) You will fight in a secluded area, where you won't be seen. 3) You will tell nobody about it—even if you lose.

TL;DR If you enjoy the zany pendulum swing between serious battle manga and absurdist self referential parody you will love this manga. Its like the Gintama of hyper masculine martial arts manga like Baki or Tough.

First off, I will say I completely understand why people would be frustrated with this manga. If you go in expecting the power fantasy of an unassuming guy beating up people way above his presumed level you get that in spades...in the beginning. It's a good manga. It definitely reminds me of One Punch Man. We got Tsuyoshi, who is super strong in martial art, and everyone who asks to fight him will be defeated. He is the MC, but the manga also focuses on one more character. He's more like Genos in OPM. He wants the MC to make him his disciple and want to know his secret of how he became so strong or what training he went through...that kind of stuff. So, basically, the MC is overpowered (which is a huge plus). If you want to know if there is a story, I'm not sure ...

Preliminary (268/? eps)
The story of Tsuyoshi follows Kawabata Tsuyoshi, who is challenged day to day by different fighters, martial artists, delinquents and all sorts of people wishing to ambitiously test their strength, against a man who has never been beaten, Kawabata himself.

Its starting point introduces two very important characters, Hoshizaki and Teru, best friends and technically-former martial arts rivals. Teru, having been beaten by Kawabata, has lost all will to fight ever again, and Hoshizaki upon hearing this, resolves to challenge Kawabata himself, and loses.
Wanting to understand Kawabata's strength himself, Hoshizaki resolves to get closer to him. Eventually, this resolves into friendship, and along the way ...
