Both are written by Aya Shouoto, but SLH is her earlier work. They both have supernatural undertones and quirky guys. 

Both are made by the same person and involve a girl surrounded by boys as she eventually becomes close friends 

Romantic shoujo manga that possess gorgeous art to die for. The highlights of both of SDC and SLH, aside from their eyegasmic detailed art, are their characters that have depth, substance, past, and well-described personalities. Takanari and Cain are quite similar. The setting is a school that isn't ordinary, as it has one-of-a-kind student council, hierarchy, and discrimination on statuses. 

Both mangas involve a main female character who has a problem with their heart, either she can't be around boys(HND) or it's been taken away and now she must search for it (SLH). They are both romances and in both of them, the main fem is powerful and is being "hunted" in a sense. Of course the stories are different, but both a good read :) 

This is almost exactly like genius house!!! Except a more complex plot and more characters. On the eve of her sixteenth birthday, Kozue Hiyoki is visited in her dreams by a man who steals her heart- literally! Determined to find him and retrieve her stolen heart, Hiyoki enrolls in the S-Hall dormitories of St. Nazareth Academy, but quickly realizes that its residents are not at all like she expected... reversed harem 

they both take place in a school for rich people and of course lots of bishonen!! only S.L.H is slightly more mysterious than ouran but both really good and also both reverse harem!! :D 

Well, for starters they're fun romances filled with bishounen suitors. The main male characters in both have a somewhat sadistic streak to them but are lovable nonetheless. Skip beat is much longer than SLH and has more of a romcom feel where as SLH is very much centered around the reverse harem. 

Both of them somehow have the same feeling... Reserve harem, supernatural events, bishoujo and bishies, a special school etc. 

Both of the girls are surrounded by a bunch of really hot guys, and the artwork from both are beautiful 

Well, both girls have some sorta curse also the artwork is the same. Its really cute >.<
