I don't usually write reviews, however, this manga certainly deserves more attention and so I am leaving this here.
It might sound similar to a more popular and well known series, Demon Slayer. Despite my concern, I was pleasantly surprised with the plot and setting of the world. The story sets itself apart enough from others to be unique and intriguing. The story does drift from the main plot and slow down, but, it only serves to build a deeper connection and understanding of the characters.

I'm mostly writing this review to help me process everything i just read so it might come off as clumsy and unfiltered.
This manga is one of those "what is the purpose of what i do" type of stories and even with some weird pacing issues in volume 1 starts it's introduction very strong. The synoposis does a great job of summarizing so i'll skip over to the characters and themes it represents. Now forgive me for being a gamer for a moment, but the characters in this manga remind me of the characters in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty where they all have deep-seated regrets and let ... |
