Both manga have a slow paced focus on food and are "healing." Alice-san is about a returnee to her hometown cooking on an irori (traditional hearth) while Maiko-san is about a teenaged girl supporting the maiko (trainee geisha) with cooking.

Alice-san Chi no Iroribata and Neko no Otera no Chion-san are both amazing manga in the SoL medium offering truly exquisite presentations in such blissful situations. Honestly, the manga doesn't give off a lot in terms of character development and yada yada, but I truly believe that regardless, such are very close to masterpiece quality in the goldy execution. Simply nothing can outmatch, at least, from what I know of and the specific category they fall into. Both include older females who cook for high school boys. The slice of life feeling and recipe detail in each chapter feels identical to one another. Mild romance in both as well. You can draw a one to one comparisons with the characters and might think think they were made by the same author.

both are a "wholesome" slice of life where the chapter usually end with cooking foods and make you feel warm etc

Both have a gentle romance with a older woman and younger man who were childhood friends eating together.

Both have a rural setting with cooking being a major focus. Zashiki Musume has more of a plot whereas Alice-san is more about the slow life and developing romance.

Both are manga about women returning to the countryside from Tokyo although Natsuko is much more plot driven story focused on brewing sake while Alice-san is a more laidback manga about cooking on an irori (traditional hearth)

Gentle slice of life cooking manga with an adult woman and a cat. Alice-san's gimmick is she has returned home to the countryside and cooks everything on an iroribata (sunken hearth). Hosomura-san is strapped for cash and cooks her meals to share with her kitten.
