Kizu is a bit like Narutaru in that it is presents a case of negativity with no definite conclusion. 

Same artist, same author. They both convey a similiar feeling or sensation. Both are sad stories, about lonely children who are drawn together by some supernatural event or condition. 

Serious and dramatic stories about children who suffer domestic violence. KIZU has a little bit of fantasy. 

In both story there is domestic violence, and "psychical scars". The hero/heroine has problematic family, with aggressive father, and the best friend has a special ability to help the others. The two story has similar mood too, the dark past leads the hopeful future. 

I feel Hiroki Endo's Tanpenshu and Kizu are similar to each other in their ambiance. Subjects like abuse are also treated in both manga's.
