This manga is still pretty new so there's a limited amount of content to score at this point, but it's pretty clear how this is going to play out already and it's extremely cute. The story isn't complicated, the characters are pretty simple, the art is fine, but what really shines is how enjoyable this manga is. It's about a lady who goes to college with the intent to get a girlfriend. Almost immediately she accidentally builds a harem of cute women.

The main character realizes she has to choose one of the women chasing after her, but she can't tell who she should choose. Very ... cute, worth a read.

Okay, I've only read up to the latest chapter translated which is chapter 15 and I'm going to say this is the most confusing manga I've ever read.

Here's a short synopsis: our protagonist, Soraike Mei, had her love confession rejected by a girl she loved back in high school. Now that Mei is a university student, she embarks on a new journey to find mutual love (between girls of course). That's the premise of this manga and that's the only thing that has been happening since the very first chapter. Mei meets different girls and feels she is in love with each and every ... single one of them, depending whom she is with, hence the title "I Don't Know which One is Love".

Sounds simple enough? Wrong. Don't let the short synopsis fool you. Nothing in this manga makes any sense. For starters, there doesn't seem to be a 'plot' in this manga. What I mean by that is, things happen just because. Nothing triggers them, nothing causes them, nothing to resolve. Every chapter is about 20 pages long of basically nothing. There are dialogues, yes, there are events going on, sure, but nothing feels cohesive. Those things are just... there. The dialogues don't feel connected and it's always vague when an arc starts/ends.

It sounds like I despise this manga, but believe it or not, I don't. I'm just so confused. I can't remember all the characters' names because of how detached they are from the story.

Final verdict, 6/10.

A yuri spin on a classic harem setting. Very enjoyable so far. The story is quite simple but all the characters are really likeable. Basically Sorakie chan wants to get a girlfriend in college and accidentally forms a lesbian harem with all the girls liking a certaine trait she has (voice, smell, skin etc..) She quickly realized that she needs to choose one to go out with however she is conflicted as she feels strongly towards all of them. This is a relatively new release so the story isn’t remotely advanced but I’m sure that you’ll enjoy this cute (and sometimes spicy) yuri harem ... story with several best girls just like I am!

TLDR; I Don't Know Which is Love has some good ideas, but suffers heavily from poor pacing and some very alienating character decisions.

On one hand, the premise is cute: the protagonist (Mei) goes to college and immediately has five different girls fawning over her, each with their own over the top appeal. It's a harem plot that knows what it's about and delivers quickly with no awkward hand wringing--refreshingly "adult" for the yuri genre. Additionally, the art is well illustrated and expressive. But, on the other hand...

The pacing is bizarre. It's a small manga, and the first volume moves at an absolutely breakneck speed to ... introduce all five love interests. This isn't necessarily a deal breaker--cramming every possible hook into the first volume is just economical, especially for romances--but combined with the harsh transitions and short set pieces it's extremely jarring.

In the second volume, we got a sort of mix and match of the love interests (a great idea that has the potential to show some really fun dynamics as the girls' appeals play off each other) but the pacing issues persist heavily. This is especially apparent with Riri, the resident innocent girl next door/gorgeous model type. With how little time each character is given, her "innocent" nature is amplified to just read as childish in a way that is distinctly un-sexy; it feels ogling and unbalanced.

The girl trouble doesn't end with Riri though. Another girl, Minato, is particularly awful. See, her whole thing is voices: she loves Mei's voice, she wants to hear Mei's voice, she wants to record Mei's voice, etc. That's fine, but she specifically has a thing for "little sister" voice stuff, which I get queasy about, and she brings it up enough you can't just move past it. I don't personally find issue in the other three, but they're distinctly polarizing in a way that almost guarantees you'll be turned away by one, which turns the mix and match on it's head. Suddenly, it's not "look at these hot character dynamics ;)" it's "you better hope you're into all five of these trope-y character or they could very well poison a scene with a character you DO like."

There are lots of other little needling problems in I Don't Know Which is Love that aren't worth getting into, and it doesn't give enough of what I want to move past them. Which is really unfortunate, because it CAN be fun and spicy when it doesn't get in it's own way (looking at you, Kaoru.)
