The magical world of Mahoutsukai (♂) to Deshi (♀) no Futekisetsu na Kankei caught my eye at first with its beginning, but dies out early because of the rushed end.

This story starts out the protagonist with one of the greatest powers which caught my eye since most supernatural, action manga starts out the character weak and have to build up. As I get interested in the story in the middle of the manga, the end came too quick. This manga battles was okay for battle manga, add in a touch of romantic comedy from his apprentice. This magical world can ... get the reader interested easily, but with its rushed ending makes it dull.

The drawings on the manga was average, with nothing too special to support the story. Sure, there are some battle scenes that have that kick to it, but it just wasn't strong enough to carry throughout the manga. Its not the best drawing, but its not the worse and will suffice.

Characters 3.5/5

The main character's power makes him cool, but doesn't stand out among the readers. Also no character was created well enough for me to stay attach to. The protagonist is lazy, ignorant, but comes out as the hero when people are in danger.

The beginning gave it a great start, but its rushed ending ruined the manga. It has the potential to be a great manga, but needs a lot more detail and a larger story to make it better. The ending did not make me feel like its the climax, and makes me sit there waiting for more to happen. Still a okay manga and is somewhat enjoyable. It is not a must-read, but still good.

The protagonist is a female apprentice who is the mage student of her classmate who she lives with and takes care of

Great story but felt so freakin rushed; needed a less intent plot and less about saving the world and stuff cause it was too short for lots of that plot....

There were a lot of elements in this story that would have only been really good if the story was longer, seems obvious that the story was cut rather than the author wanting it to end that way.....

The characters weren't that bad; this was so short that you couldn't get a proper connection with any ... character but the female MC Konoha, but it wasn't too much, cause she seemed almost to perfect, and this was too short. they weren't hateable characters really, but they weren't lovable.

There was some fan service in this, but not much, and the line in the description "Or will she take him for herself?" is kinda misleading because there is nothing in the story to show that.

There is a little sister brocon in the story and stuff, and the beginning of this story was cute. The moment you get to Ikumaru (Konoha's master/classmate & roommate/love interest) getting "killed", the story goes down hill. Honestly, there were some good points, but there were too many complex elements for such a short manga and it showed as the manga was ending.

The Story gets a 6; it wasn't too shabby, but not that great ending.
The Art gets a 7; it wasn't bad, but it wasn't breathtaking either.
The Characters get a 6; There wasn't enough development to make us truly.
The Enjoyment gets a 7; they were enjoyable hut not memorable.
Overall, I gave a 7.

It's a short fun manga that I hope you enjoy.
