Would you be able to give up your love in order to achieve the ultimate revenge?

From the outside, Love Sick is perceived as any other Shoujo manga is. Many might look at this manga and think that it's just like any other harem manga where the guys fall in love with a girl who is clueless, and unable to protect herself. However this is not the case at all.

Story: Love sick revolves around our heroine, Shiki, who is bent on the idea of getting revenge for her father who had just passed away. Right when the manga starts we are introduced to the main ... cast of the manga and why exactly Shiki is seeking revenge. She enters a new school as a male student and meets four handsome young men who happen to be very rich. (Yes I know, it sounds very cliche and overdone but trust me when I tell you that Love Sick is very different from all the other harem manga.) Those four young men also happen to be previous patients of her father and each suffer from an abnormal disease.

Art: The art is completely wonderful. Love Sick art is able to draw you in and through out the story you are able to see how each character grows, based solely on their design.

Characters: Each character is SO different and that's something that is very rare among shoujo manga. This is the best part! - THE HEROINE ISN'T USELESS! And by not useless I mean she is strong and you can't help but love her. Not only that but the four guys ACTUALLY have valid reason for falling in love with our heroine! Wow, right?

Enjoyment: As you can see, I completely fell in love with this manga and if you haven't read it, you're missing out!! It might start off a bit slow but overall I loved it. Definitely recommend this to anybody who's had a bad experience with bad harem manga. This manga will really change your mind about reverse harems.

I highly regret wasting the last two hours of my life on this manga for the sake of the 2019 manga challenge. This was just BAD.

Story:
I don't think the story could have been more cliched if it TRIED. It had a lot of unnecessary drama in the overall plot. In short, it was a bad soap opera. Unfortunately, there aren't really any specifics I can give because of how short the story is and how much comes out about halfway through or later.

Art:
I loved the art. It was the ONLY thing I even remotely liked about it.

Character:
Everything was painfully obvious and all the characters were ... the same types used over and over in shoujo harems. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, other than it gets old that the heroine ends up with the same character every time. The "diseases" were really dumb. The number of plot holes in them was ridiculous. Especially one of them.

He becomes "hideous" and was abandoned by EVERYONE because of it...and it literally just looks like tattoos. What the heck?

The development was pretty normal for a shoujo harem. If you've seen/read OHSHC, you know EXACTLY how the development goes. It's exactly the same.

Enjoyment:
I wasted two hours of my life on this that I'm never getting back. I think that says enough.
