Both ukes are small, cute, and reserved, while the semes are handsome and more socially active. In Rin!, uke is dependent on seme due to a past tragedy, and in BnS, the seme is the only person that can emotionally understand the uke. Personally, I think both stories are amazing.

Though BnS deals with teenagers at school and not an adult setting, it's similar to JnS in the fact that the uke is being chased by another man that's not the seme. JnS is more graphic, but both are enjoyable reads.

For the most part, there's little drama, but they have a very cute relationship. Seme is more outspoken and open than uke. Both settings are placed in school.

Both ukes are quiet and reserved. In SL seme chases after the uke, unlike in BnS where the uke is the one with the initial crush. Both semes are older (in SL this is assuming the older, more dominant personality is the seme. In SL there is currently no sex). Also, it's important to note SL is an incomplete manga.

Both ukes are very quiet. However, in BnS it's merely because of shyness. In S,InMF he essentially lacks a personality and doesn't care enough about anything to speak (the seme changes that).

This Anime has Male Couples one who loves baseball and another who's an artist. Both have Baseball, Yaoi, and Romance.

Very similar as both have silent uke who can't express their feelings

Both mangas involve two teenage boys vying for the love and affection of the uke. There is intense rivalry between the two, and the uke must inevitably decide which he loves most.

Both are written and drawn by the same mangaka. The characters are similar where the seme wants the uke and the uke doesn't know how to handle the situation. There's also the constant misunderstanding between the semes and ukes. Also, the couples are cute because they have their ups and downs but the pairs always seem to resolve the problem and make-up.

Even if the stories are very different, both are yaoi manga about a main character who has difficulties to express himself, and has to find a way to show his love to his lover. Both are cute and funny!

Both yaoi mangas have a story with very shy Uke, who has problems with emotions.

Both are about the quiet/shy uke going out with the outgoing/popular seme. Both are very heartwarming romances that just make you feel happy. Nothing dramatic happens, noone gets pinned down and abused, it's just about two guys who fall in love and deal with little life situations as they attend school. Highly recommend both.

both yaoi. Shares a character who somewhat unable to communicate, and another character that understands the disabled character cause he loves him so. Silent is more detailed and well-developed then kanashii. But Kanashii is still a cute read.
