Ah yes, another one of those "forbidden" Yuri love stories but except wait! This one is really good! Welcome to the royal castle of the sheep kingdom! We have our totally adorable sheep princess and her cool wolf butler. We read the story of how they first encounter one another and how their feelings grow for each other despite their social standings. Aside from the main two characters, we also have the side characters each with a story of their own to share. I really liked how the author has handled them because not only they have a reasonable amount of screen time, they also ... make that time completely worth it. It's an excellent series that's beautifully illustrated. Nothing but praises for the artwork the author has done for the series. The characters are very pretty and I absolutely love their clothing designs. The animalistic traits really add on to the expressiveness of the characters too.

What I especially like about this manga is that unlike other romance manga with an aristocratic setting, it doesn't establish an environment that's overly strict which adheres to the royal customs to death. It's refreshing because the manga which do that tend to fall into the cliche where the couple bs their way out of it. Actual rubbish. In here, we are assured it is fine for them to be together and that is how it should be.

My only slightly negative comment would be how the dialogues are a little bit awkward sometimes but this is mostly just a nitpick as I still recommend reading this to anyone looking for high quality Yuri manga.

I really enjoy this series. It’s an adorable romance story between a sheep princess (Momo) and her wolf butler (Aki. The artstyle is super cute and goes with the story incredibly well. Watching Momo try to get Aki flustered and fall in love with her is so sweet and relaxing. It’s just a feel good story.

I could go into specifics but the manga is short enough that I think your should just read it without me spoiling any more than I need to. While I would’ve loved to get more of these two I feel like where it left off was great, making every ... chapter count. It’s a super solid manga that I would recommend to anyone looking for adorable yuri romance.

characters 7/10 - for a short, lighthearted series the attention to side characters are surprising. not the best, but sufficient enough to not leave a bad taste in my mouth after finishing.
plot 8/10 - good. solid pacing. not much happening and no twists, but its good enough for a short series like this.
story 8/10 - it was a pretty simple concept, but the way its written reminds me of those fairytale stories i used to read. it was a trip to childhood. therefore its good.
enjoyment 9.5/10 - took some tears out of me 😭

I thoroughly enjoyed this series! It’s charmingly cute, with gorgeous artwork that adds to its appeal. The side characters are quite entertaining, while the main pairing is absolutely adorable and heartwarming.

That said, I did find the pacing a bit rushed. Almost every conflict or issue the characters face is resolved within the same chapter. While I understand that the short length of the series limits the complexity of the plot, a few unexpected twists or moments of tension would have made it even more captivating. Additionally, the whole sheep/wolf dynamic doesn’t really add much to the story beyond a couple of specific scenes, which felt ... like a missed opportunity to explore something deeper or more thematic.

Despite this, the series is light, enjoyable, and if you really wanted to, you could definitely binge it in one sitting. A perfect pick for when you’re in the mood for something sweet and quick!
