Slice of life manga involving things like death, suicide, murder, depression, anxiety, paranoia, racism, survival, dark secrets(ex.cloning), loss/decline in/of civilisation etc.

I've included the fable and Kizudarake no Jinsei which aren't labelled as slice of life but they lie somewhere between gritty crime drama and a slice of life story.

Manga with beautiful/aesthetically pleasing (character) art that’s detailed, on the realistic side, and clean & polished, bringing to life characters and creating a good sense of setting. Effective composition & panelling are taken into account too.
