This one is real interesting! I've only read the 2 volumes that have been translated so far, but I'm pretty much hooked. It's a real intriguing premise and both the main characters (the death row inmate and the main protagonist) have very nuanced characters.
So far, I am not sure you could call this a romance manga as much as it's a sort of drama/murder-mystery, but depending on how far the protagonist goes it could really go in any direction. Natsume Arata no Kekkon is a very interesting story with clever plot twists !
This work really deserves more praise and visibility. You are constantly sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next and who to believe. The author made a huge analysis of the legal world beforehand and uses it to let us navigate in the mist, when you distinguish a light it might not be the one you expected ! The art style is also very unique and beautifully drawn, the faces are very lively which makes you closer to the characters. Definetely read it. I'm up to volume 8 and it keeps getting ... |
