So far there's been one volume released and its such a good introduction to the story. The two main characters/couple had hints of backstory sprinkled throughout, and their development was paced perfectly. There was also some side characters introduced that were extremely intriguing that I hope we learn more about. Plus the vampire element gave everything such a good interesting twist, as someone who loves vampire stories, this one is a new favorite. The art is also so beautiful, I love LOVE how the characters are drawn and it fits the story so perfectly. Since there is only one volume so far, I'm rating it ... an eight for now but can see this being a higher score for me. I recommend this for sure and am so happy to have purchased this volume myself.

I got volume 1 in a physical copy, volume 2 is already out in Japan so now it's a matter of time for the English version.

Beautiful art, the story is really great, I love the little plot lines it has, the idea of vampires and immortality are very good when used to address some subjects like loss or depression (if done right), so the story is a bit sad but it also has a hopeful feeling of restart. I like everything so far, just hope no plot lines or characters gets left behind and the harder themes get further developed, is always disappointing whenever ... we see a clue in a story and the author just never gets back to it.

Overall, excited for volume 2.

I know this sounds ironic but I’m genuinely reading this for the plot-
I don’t mind the other scenes either but I am just amazed at how well written their world is, and this is the first time I ever felt that way. There’s just such an interesting dark air to it, I don’t know what to call it other than surprisingly realistic? For example these vampires have health insurance systems, they have therapy and self help groups, the way completely normal things from our lives are adjusted to vampires here is just so interesting. These aren’t the fantasy creatures that live in fancy castles and ... speak like they haven’t talked to anyone in hundreds of years (even tho I like those too ofc) but instead these are “normal” people, living everyday life the way it is possible to them.
USUALLY I wouldn’t enjoy such a close cut to reality since I’m reading to avoid exactly that, but here it was a pleasant surprise. Once the story really gets started I realized that every chapter ends on angst- quite painful in some parts, but worth it in the end. The chapters break in kind of an unusual way, the next chapter doesn’t pick up where the last one ended and you tend to forget what happened just before this, but the story still connects clearly.
This might sound very confusing but all I’m trying to say is that this manga caught me in a very unexpected way and I’m deeply invested now.
Side note: I thought this was going to end on the 3rd volume? I was completely prepared for it to end there and the last chapter did sound a lot like an end, but suddenly the last page said “to be continued in volume 4”. I’ll admit I was shocked.
