So far there's been one volume released and its such a good introduction to the story. The two main characters/couple had hints of backstory sprinkled throughout, and their development was paced perfectly. There was also some side characters introduced that were extremely intriguing that I hope we learn more about. Plus the vampire element gave everything such a good interesting twist, as someone who loves vampire stories, this one is a new favorite. The art is also so beautiful, I love LOVE how the characters are drawn and it fits the story so perfectly. Since there is only one volume so far, I'm rating it

I got volume 1 in a physical copy, volume 2 is already out in Japan so now it's a matter of time for the English version.
Beautiful art, the story is really great, I love the little plot lines it has, the idea of vampires and immortality are very good when used to address some subjects like loss or depression (if done right), so the story is a bit sad but it also has a hopeful feeling of restart. I like everything so far, just hope no plot lines or characters gets left behind and the harder themes get further developed, is always disappointing whenever ... Oct 16, 2024
I know this sounds ironic but I’m genuinely reading this for the plot-
I don’t mind the other scenes either but I am just amazed at how well written their world is, and this is the first time I ever felt that way. There’s just such an interesting dark air to it, I don’t know what to call it other than surprisingly realistic? For example these vampires have health insurance systems, they have therapy and self help groups, the way completely normal things from our lives are adjusted to vampires here is just so interesting. These aren’t the fantasy creatures that live in fancy castles and ... |
