To be completely honest, this is one of the most pointless things I've ever read. The manga is just 16 chapters worth of characters going through the most famous romance-manga-set-in-highschool tropes with little to no originality or any attempt to freshen things up.

I loved it, 8/10.

Instead of an actual manga with a plot, or any kind of point to it, really, this is just healing designed to help the fans of 86 cope with the horrible nightmares going on in the anime & light novel, and if you know 86, you know these poor souls really need it. Unless you love all the characters and ...

I'm happy this was made. Such a lovely and heartwarming story.

The premise of the manga mainly shows how the 86 characters' lives would have been if the war and tragic events didn't happen. Every chapter was blissful. Seeing the characters happy and enjoying their school lives is just heartwarming. The best part of the manga was seeing the characters that died brought back and seeing them having fun was just a joy. They don't have to think about how to survive on the battlefield and the possibilities of losing their comrades but rather enjoy high school and having fun.

I know the light novel and the anime are going along well, but why did they have the make this series. at this point, they are trying to milk this fan base. Now for the review. All in all, this is a cliche high school remake of the series that are just made to sell and not have a good plot. They also use several characters that were killed off in the first book and don't seem to mention characters that were added in later in the LN. While being better than the one for AoT (which is not a high bar to cross) it ...

I love that they made this.

This manga is a spin-off of how 86 characters would be if they were regular high school students in Japan. I love that they include all the characters who died in the original series, and seeing them so happy and alive makes me so happy even though I know it's not real. It heals my broken heart. (The characters are only those who appeared in the anime/manga, and some future characters in the LN will appear in later chapters, so beware of spoilers.)

You definitely should read this just for entertainment or if you want some happy 86 content to ...
