I know that people complaining that the storyline is too generic and bland
but personally, this is my favorite slice-of-life manga, don't know why but there's something about this that really attract me.
The story is really wholesome with a little romance
The fight scenes are little but supreme art cover it all, the characters are also very well-drawn.
I love it, it gave me some very wholesome vibes

This manga is about the daily life of a normal guy and an ex-assassin who works as his stay-in maid. At the start, it is like a fluffy rom-com sol manga but as you continue reading, there are some aspects of the protagonists' lives that get uncovered. Don't be surprised, Yuki is an ex-assassin after all. There are some supernatural aspects as well, but that had minor role (at least at the time of writing).
But around chapter 40, it kind of went downhill. To avoid spoilers, let's simply say the introduction of new characters added unnecessary drama and added some genres to the ...

I try to write my reviews as objectively as possible considering MAL's numbers and their respective wording like 5 = mediocre.
Lets start with general gist it is a rom-com shounen and slice of life. Rom-com and shounens are generally a red flag for me since they reek of lack of creativity because after lets say 5 rom-coms you start to see that they are all the same and only few toppings change like the initial story, character looks (not personality) and pace. Slice of life genre is a lie here while it does have elements of it it quickly went to school life ...

I'm honestly sad this turned out to be super average... Before I start going into detail:
this did have potenial, and I really hope that my score will make a turn later in the manga. Story: 6 The story is decently interesting and seems somewhat "Violet Evergarden" 'ish. Thats not a bad thing considering thats one of my favourite anime. Yet it is somehow lacking of everything that made Violett Evergarden believeable. The characters simply have less strong motivations behind the actions their taking than in Violett and therefor seems like a budget version of it. Still enjoyable. the plot is okay in my opinion i enjoyed this but i dropped it at chapter 9 but if you like manga like this its fine im not a big fan of manga like this but it's decent so why did i drop this?
