This isnt the best story I have ever read but I really liked it I havent read to much manga so I have little to compare to. I might not be the best manga ever but I think everyone enjoy it. It has a great mesage and its a short read with only 2 volumes so it wont waste your time I really liked the characters the art and even tho the story falls a bit apart at the end It was a enjoyble read

Weekly Shounen Jump is the most famous manga magazine in the world, with series like Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Yugi-Oh, Bleach and Yaiba, just to name very few. It’s a magazine that always seems to have a hit title on their sleeves, and this can give people the idea that Jump spends a lot of time curating their manga, making sure that only the best of the best are published, but this is actually far from what really happens.
On the contrary, Weekly Shounen Jump has a new batch of manga every three or so months, and each batch comes with two to four brand ...

Edit - I hate having to eat my words but hey, I took a shot. I loved something and I stood by it. I couldn't give 2 sh*ts about what people think so I won't alter my original review. My opinion of the series hasn't changed much. I still believe it could have gone a very long way. It's not my fault that the Japanese r cool will sexualized lolis but when things get real (like plagiarism topic), they cower into their caves. Anyways, I hope jump adds a sports series soon.
.
At this moment, I'm merely 7 chapters into the series. And I've already ...

If you want to read this series, it’s best you stop right there. Let me give you some advice, don’t read axed series.

If you end up finishing it without particularly liking it, good on you. But if you end up enjoying it, it will only hurt you. You’ll ponder about what could’ve happened if it wasn’t axed. The potential it had. The story you wanted to experience.

This is what I experienced with Time Paradox. Honestly, I saw this coming. Although it had an interesting premise, it was quite questionable. Plagiarism isn’t exactly a good thing, especially in the manga industry. While this manga definitely ...

the time paradox ghost writer is a manga that heavily copies 2 shows; steins;gate and bakuman
a combination between the goat and a great show/manga will result in a great manga right?

WRONG!

the problems with it are the exact same problem the editor tells mr.maincharacter in the first chapter, nothing is bad, but nothing is good either there is nothing to be found in it, it's worthless, empty.

what would you like to see in a manga? the answer is most likely not in the time paradox ghost writer.

the characters are as plain as it gets, what even drives the main character to do whatever he ...

Time Paradox, one of the new manga coming from the new wave of Shounen Jump, being probably the most promising among them

Telling the story of Teppei Sasaki, who ends up receiving a Shounen Jump from the future ... This is strange, isn't it? This is bizarrely innovative, the people at Jump must have had the same reaction as the people who read the White Knight of the work itself, maybe it was inspired by that, right? hahah

The most positive point of the work I believe is the approach he takes on what makes a manga really good to be read by readers, which is not ...

Without really knowing much about Bakuman, which is of course the more popular series, I think it has some similarities setting-wise with Time Paradox Ghost Writer that it tells a story about how the manga industry works and how to become a mangaka in the first place. So in that it sets itself up from most of the other Shounen publications that it features no superpowers or actionopacked fights which is a nice variation from fighting mangas that could feel repetitive in the long run. Its interesting to see how metaphysical the series is in talking what makes a manga worth reading while being a ...

Do you ever feel like you've already read every good manga series? You search and search for something fresh and exciting, yet you seem to run into the same overused isekai, harem or shounen manga.

Well look no further because your new favorite shounen is here! I don’t mean to quote Josuke Higashikata but after reading the oneshot I felt like it was “new year's morning after I just put on a fresh pair of underwear.”

Time Paradox Ghost Writer is a manga which focuses on an up and coming mangaka named Teppei Sasaki who has failed numerous attempts at making his pro debut in the ...

I'm not used to writing reviews, but this manga left quite an impression on me and I feel I should explain why. Also, it may contain light spoilers, though nothig that reveals the whole plot.

Story 7/10

The story has a fascinating premise. If executed well, it could have become an amazing work. Unfortunately, it wasn't given enough time to show off. At least, that's what I believe happened...There is a lot of pressure on manga authors whose series stay at the bottom of the rankings and I'm guessing that might have had a negative effect on how the story went.
Either way, this seems like a ...

Spoilerfree:

When I first started reading Time Paradox Ghost Writer I couldn't stop. My face was glued to my screen and I was so excited to see where this show would be headed. Well, it tackles a topic many Japanese people - at least so I've heard from people - aren't too keen about.

It stops after 15 chapters and everything really goes downhill those last few chapters. You can tell the writers tried to wrap things up as fast as they could and the story greatly suffered from it.

Now I did still give it 8 stars and that's because I when I started and thought what ...

Immediately dives off a cliff after the first two chapters and spoils its premise by doing absolutely nothing with its hook.

Teppei is an aspiring mangaka who couldn’t catch a break. Despite all the blood, sweat, and tears, effort can only take you so far, and a little innate talent is necessary to succeed. On the verge of calling it quits, a freak accident allows a microwave to deliver Shonen Jump issues from 10 years into the future. Can plagiarizing the amazing debut from its pages be the path to success? But what follows after Chapter 2 is just a disappointing series of events and course ...

Time Paradox Ghostwriter is one of the shortest Jump Manga i've read, only managing to have 14 chapters before getting axed. Today is the official release of the final chapter, and i feel like I have to give it a review.

This will contain spoilers and is also something i'm deeply, personally attached to!

Story: 9/10
From beginning to end I feel like TPG has had a fairly solid story, focusing on a struggling rookie mangaka: Teppei Sasaki, putting a lot of emphasis on his passion for making manga and wanting to make a manga everyone would be able to enjoy. Met with the extreme ruthlessness of ...

"Has potential" means "has not yet lived up to it". That's the lesson I hope people that were all over hyping Time Paradox Ghostwriter get out of this because that's certainly how I ended up feeling. I can't blame people for getting excited over a series like this as it seemed like this series would be Bakuman minus the stock romance + Stein;s Gate, a cool seeming idea that had some interesting questions to ask about creative writing, particularly whether or not it's truly possible for a different writer to take up someone else's beloved intellectual property without losing the intrinsic value that made the ...

Time Paradox Ghost Writer is a story about a manga creator who isn't unique or bold enough to make it in the industry. That is, until, his microwave begins spitting out copies of Weekly Shounen Jump from years in the future. He then decides that plagiarizing a story from these volumes' pages will be his fast track to success.

Ironically enough, a "lack of originality" is my core issue with this entire manga.

There isn't an ounce of originality to the plot. It combines the ideas of two widely acclaimed series, Bakuman and Steins;Gate, in more ways than you'll realize at first. It's all stuff ...

The fact that this series is being obviously rushed due to a bunch of butthurt Japanese Jump readers getting angry over the very concept that plagiarism is being seen from a much more complex perspective than any other manga would ever touch and that Jump is complicit in pushing this series to be canned as quickly as possible to prevent from some sort of huge backlash shows the very worst of the Jump system, where even if a work is one of the most refreshing, impactful, and instantly gripping ones we've seen in the magazine since The Promised Neverland started 4 years ago, if you ...

From the moment I read the description I was hooked. I loved the idea from the start it felt unique and meta af with it's setting. Each chapter kept getting better but then I started to feel like it was being rushed. Time-skip after time-skip I started to lose the interest I had in the manga. I felt like I could see then end of the series being chapters away but just as I thought the manga had reached a dead end it proved me wrong. Now the manga was heading down a path that I could not see until it showed it to me, ...

Wait, that's it? After just over a dozen chapters it's over? We had such a good thing going! I couldn't believe it when I saw it, but chapter 14 had "Final Chapter" printed at the beginning and "The End" printed on the last page. So, here's a review of what we got.

"Time Paradox Ghost Writer" got off to a great start following our MC as he struggled to create great art with his limited talent and various sci-fi shenanigans kept interfering, but it seems almost pointless to grade the 'STORY' section since the last few chapters rush through so much to force some kind of ...

Time Paradox Ghost Writer is the first manga that comes to mind when someone asks me, “name one manga series that ended before it got the chance to become something.” Time Paradox Ghost Writer had so much potential to become the next big “manga making” series in shone jump, the next Bakuman, but because of its cancellation, it never got the chance to become good. The reason why I wouldn’t recommend it is solely because of how rushed the ending is, which is definitely because of its cancellation. The only problem that I can think of besides it’s ending is the main characters motivation to ...

I don't know what to say except the fact that is manga had more than what it took to be something great if only given more time and a fair attention as we know that the Japanese anime fans didn't like the story cause of the fact that the protagonist plagiarized the heroines manga.

It had a compelling story that gave the same vibe as the big hits Steins;Gate and Bakuman and it felt like It was a combination of both so it didn't have much originality but the premise was very interesting and it was definitely enjoyable to read.

The art is very beautiful although ...

Back when I was reading chapter 7 I was excited with the direction of where the story could go. The direction really hyped up the rivalry between Sasaki and Aino which was refreshing especially in the male dominated manga industry.

But really this ended to abruptly and the pace was too fast so I was disappointed by the ending. Too many timeskips and definitely not enough time for the characters to be built so there was no actual rivalry, and the story really skips over a lot of manga writing process, which I suppose was never the focus, but jam packing the theme of the story ...
