I'm not gonna lie folks, this shounen ai really started off rather weird for me at the very beginning cause I honestly didn't know what the hell was going on with the boys here! Although I would advice to keep reading on though, you will find out the backstory of each character on how they met and of course why they met again unusually after so many years!

As the other reviewer here said, there's no mermans involved so if you're going to be disappointed because of its title, check out Castle Swimmer to soothe your tears lol! Anyways let's get back to this manga, even ... though it is pretty sad when you see an animal dying and of course when the lads were going through their separate ways. However you gotta admit though, Kazushi and Higaki are a pretty adorable couple even as kiddos!

Yeah just check this manga out lads if you need warmth in your heart! 💓💓💓

Words are powerful. The title is a little misleading since there are no mermaids involved in the story but instead used as a metaphor for the main protagonist's power: Tatsumi's voice changes to the sound of ocean waves and he has the power to compel the person to do as he wills when this happens. Without giving out too much of a spoiler, the story begins with two strangers who meet by the ocean and how fate connects them. The artwork and story are both simple and refreshing; it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. If you want a short and refreshing read ... then this will be a perfect pickup!
