Well, what can I say? Gamers of all kind should understand that this work of art is nothing short of a masterpiece. The author spins a tale of two gamers leaving their houses and discovering each other in real life - a little extreme, but believable nonetheless. It is quite unfortunate that I deducted the one point that I did, but I was forced to because whenever Nanami's dad is on the page I simply cannot look away, causing me to lose track of what I was reading.
All jokes aside this is pretty entertaining and wholesome, the art is nice and it's in color

Imaging meeting up with an online friend only to find out they are not who you think they are.
STORY: It started out as a simple meet-up which caused some mental scar in both Nanami and Kaoru. And then the two started to be comfortable with each other. I like how this feels so real because you really can't be sure who someone else is until you've seen them. ART: They look cute... ... Jul 5, 2021
story: 7/10. i think the idea of being a "gamer" is quite realistic. the gaming terms and the games they play is close to fair, the characters being the opposite gender online, etc. i rate this 7/10 because i expected to read a story about hanging out with a gamer girl, and i got a boy crossdressing. its funny though, so im not saying i hate it!!
art: 10/10. the art style is soo cute i really aspire to draw like the artist. this manga is one of the very few mangas you'd see with full colored pages, so it was definitely refreshing to see. character: 7/10. ... Jul 10, 2024

It's a low 5/10. As a huge gaming fan who hasn't played video games for 3 years as of now, I was quite disappointed with this manga. It just turns out to be a very standard and quite boring romcom. The manga does do some unique things, like dealing with the Hikikomori lifestyle and how it effects the people around them. Those parts are the best part of the manga. But for the most part, it's a normal romcom with a lot of crossdressing and barely any actual gaming. I like Traps, but I wanted gaming. There hasn't been a manga or anime yet that ... Aug 26, 2023
This manga extrapolates the complexities of being an otaku and how you view normies, both told directly by Nanami, or witness by the reader based on how both MCs make little trivial things big.
I love how this manga incorporates a lot of gaming otaku stereotypes, I thought this would be a great chill slice of life romcom but as I read this parts of both MCs resonate with me, they just put into words things i could have not before, I felt nothing but warm and fuzzies and some tears in the most recent chapters ive read. This is my first manga with any ... |
